Ben took a sip from his coffee listening intently. His stylus behind hisear and his tablet on his lap. "It's definitely taking people some time to get adjusted. No debate there. But I don't get what all the fuss is about. Mutants are bad but if you weren't born that way it's fine? It's all a buncha bull."
"A buncha bull. Sure, you could say that." As a rule of thumb, Jean tried to be a little more even keeled and professional with the public. She felt that she had to. They were already a breath away from chasing mutants down with burning torches. There was no reason to light their flames any further. "Please, keep that off the record." The mutant smiled. "What I will say is that people struggle with things they don't understand. We're the next step in evolution. That's uncomfortable for some. People have hated other people for a litany of stupid reasons. Prejudice is nothing new. It's just disappointing that it's still so prevalent."
