Aladdin comes up behind Hercules and attempts to pinch his bicep, "You look like someone stuffed pillows in your arms!" (Welcome to DRP!!)

Hercules jumps at the contact and swings around to face the other man, careful to not accidentally hit him in the process. Hurting others was never his intention, but due to his strength it happened more often then he’d like.

“Hey, woah!” he said in surprise. “I’m used to fan girls jumping me but this is new. And yes, I get that often.”

“Did it hurt?” He asked, pinching the stranger’s arm before smiling, “Getting the pillows in your arm? Or maybe they’re not pillows but some form of cushion… Hard, hard cushion.” 

Al smiled, reaching a hand out to the stranger, “I’m Aladdin!”

Hercules rose an eyebrow, not one hundred percent sure if this guy was serious or not, but he took the hand offered to him and gave it a firm shake. 

“Uhm, no... I’m Hercules,” he said, drawing back his hand and putting his hands on his hips, puffing his chest out in a heroic pose. “Son of Zeus and the strongest man on the earth.”

Meg’s smile simultaneously widened and softened as Hercules took hold of her hands, holding them in his much larger ones. With his size and strength, he could easily crush them, but he’s always treats her gently – something that, admittedly, she’s still getting used to. But it’s gotten easier, slowly but surely. 

In response to his question, she gave a shrug. “I wasn’t thinking any place in particular, but the garden sounds pretty nice. Though if you think The Incredible Mutton Man and his trusty, feathered sidekick are gonna crash the party again, maybe not.” She let out a small chuckle, though Pegasus and Phil’s interruption of their last trip to the garden wasn’t exactly a fond memory. “I think they might’ve learned their lesson, though. We can take some snacks, some wine, kick back, and hope for the best.”

Hercules shook his head, “Oh no, I’ll make sure they’ll be no interruptions. At least not as disastrous as that.” 

Truth be told he still felt uneasy about that incident, so much had just gone horribly wrong so suddenly that it gave him mental whiplash. It went from the best night of his life, to the worst, and back again to the best. But as long as he could spend the rest of his mortal life with Meg, he was willing to do it all over again.

“How about I run and go get some stuff together and meet you by the fountain?”

“Yeah, wanted to show you my new stilts.,” she chuckled, doing her best imitation of the satyr’s voice. It didn’t sound as great as the previous one, unfortunately. “I can reach past your knees now, see?”

Dropping the mimicry, she let out a genuine laugh and let her hands fall from his eyes to his shoulders. Pushing herself onto the very tips of her toes, Meg placed a quick kiss to his cheek and pat the spot as she lowered herself back down. 

“I thought I’d drop by and see if I could convince you to take the day off,” she explained as she slid around, hand still resting against his shoulder, until she stood directly in front of him. “But it looks like you’re already doing that, so I guess I’m in luck.” 

As soon as Meg’s lips made contact with Herc’s cheek his eyelids began to droop and he flashed his teeth in a dorky smile, back hunching slightly forward. “Yeah, I think I’d like that,” he answered her clearing his throat. He grabbed both of her hands gently, mindful of his own strength. “Especially when it’s me and you.”

He looked into her eyes and seemed to get lost in thought again, but shook his head after a few seconds. He really needs to stop doing that. “Is there any place you had in mind? Perhaps we could see a play again, or stroll through the gardens,” Hercules asked, not really caring either way. As long as he got to spend time with Megara he didn’t mind.

Meg tread quietly on the marble floor, careful not to let her sandals click against the ground. A quick glance around told her Phil wasn’t around, or at least not in the area, and she let out a silent sigh of relief. She found herself on better terms with the old goat lately, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t chase her off if he caught her sneaking in, probably. 

Truth be told, Meg had no idea if Hercules was even home right now. Between city repairs (which she  did her best to help with, too – part of the blame for the city’s current state could be laid on her, after all) and regular ‘hero duties’, he could very well be out right now. Not only that, but the entire villa easily covered the size of an entire city itself. But if doing the dirty work for the Lord of the Dead had taught her anything, it was locating people she needed to find. Besides that, they could both use a break – some time to themselves, rather than dealing with things in the city. 

Thankfully, it didn’t take much time of ducking her head into rooms to locate him. And, lucky her, his back was turned. A smirk crept into her lips and she tip toed up behind him, quietly as she could. Her slender hands flew up quickly and clamped over his eyes. Unable to pass up the opportunity, she feigned her best fangirl imitation as she giggled. “Guess whoooo?”

Hercules was enjoying some much needed time off from being a hero, not that he wasn’t always on call that is; looking up at the sky wondering how his parents and all the other gods and goddesses were doing up on Mount Olympus. But never once did he ever regret his decision to stay on earth with Meg, even if he did feel a bit homesick once in a while for a life he never got to have. Besides, the people needed his help.

Lost in his own thoughts, Herc was clueless to his surroundings but was suddenly pulled into reality when feminine hands blocked his sight. His first guess that it was another young women who had broke in and was here to confess her love for him, but as soon as he heard that voice he knew.

With a huge smile Hercules couldn’t help but laugh along with her, “Umm... Phil is that you?”
