Well I guess people are just effected by it in different ways.
I'm going to have to give you lying lessons one day.
Tell me, are you still going along with the Kitty Wilde recommended one way ticket to Barbie doll proportion diet? Because I gave you the basics, but if you're passing out, it may not be right for you. It's about finding a balance, eating enough but not too much, and then there's always a master cleanse if you just get tired of eating.
Hola
The name’s Eliana Lopez. Pleasure to meet you all.

Ryder was distracted for a moment by the light pinkish hue of her cheeks, smiling slightly at how cute it was. He didn’t remember a time he’d seen her blush, and guessed he was kind of lucky he witnessed it. He wanted to kiss her again, or something like that, because it was sometimes just really hard to resist it. Of course, he didn’t, because soon she was speaking. Ryder leaned back into his seat as she spoke, chuckling as she revealed what she had always wanted to do. “Something tells me she has some seriously legit security system on those things,” he joked, sure that Coach Sylvester prized her trophies above her own life. Hearing the question turned onto him, Ryder pursed his lips. For a moment he thought about what to say. Honestly, Ryder didn’t really do much that was “bad”, and he hardly ever put himself in the position to be doing something that would get himself in trouble. Instantly he would think of his dad, and then that pep talk would start playing in his head.
Come on, son. You’re not that kind of kid. You’re a good kid, and you’re going to get into Harvard and have a respectable career and live a respectable life when you’re older. Don’t do anything now that’s going to compromise your bright future. You’re better than those kids that need to go against the rules to get somewhere. Stick by the rules, you can have fun while being safe and obeying the rules. You’re better than that.
He shrugged. “I’m… Not exactly one to get into trouble, or even think about it,” he said softly, feeling his cheeks go slightly hotter than normal. Glancing over at her, he shrugged. “I’ve never really tried to sneak out until now…” Biting his lip, he looked over past the dashboard into the darkness of the night. Sliding his hand into his jacket pocket, pulling out his wallet, he pulled out the fake ID he had, blushing at how stupid he looked in the picture. “I even got one of these like a couple months ago and I haven’t even been able to use it,” he laughed, shaking his head. Pausing, he pushed it back into his wallet before placing it in his pocket, leaning back and turning his head to look at her. “I wouldn’t really know where to find trouble or how to even have fun when sneaking out,” he said honestly. After a moment o silence, though, he sat upright and started up the engine again, though he had no idea where he was going as he began pulling out of the parking lot. “Does Lima even have a ‘night life’?” he laughed. “Let’s go find out.”
She watched him as he thought about something he'd always wanted to do but didn't have the courage to. He seemed to go off somewhere and for a moment she wanted to lean closer and try to figure out where by the expression on his face but she wasn't really good at it anyways. He began to speak and told her what she already knew: He was the golden good ol' boy. No, he was more than that, but that's what he was essentially. She was, surprised though, at him saying that he had never tried to sneak out. With his strict parents, she didn't understand how he hadn't tried to runaway just once. Maybe that was a little pretentious, considering she'd always been one for getting a rise out of her parents even if it was just hiding in her closet for a whole day or spending the night in the poolhouse without telling anyone. Even before her mom died and her dad became unbearable. With a tolerance like that, she wondered what had pushed him to sneak out tonight of all nights.
She glanced over at his fake ID and raised an eyebrow. It was shiny, looked better than hers, and was actually set in the state of Ohio. She had gotten her own from some nerd in the AV club the prior year, that made her 23, a resident of Tennessee and listed her eye color as green, but it passed. As he placed his ID back into his wallet and began to say that he wouldn't know how to find trouble, she openly interrupted. "You found me," She reminded him almost teasingly, though it was true. Kitty was all but the physical embodiment of trouble, at least to teenage boys. "Don't worry, I'll help you have fun," The blonde reassured him, sure she could get him, even with his rigid mood, to loosen up and live a little. "I'm sure Lima's packed with bars," She said at the question of Lima nightlife, though that barely counted as nightlife in her mind. There was nightlife in bigger towns, maybe but the closest Lima had were karaoke bars or a bowling alley. Or at least, all she knew of. She glanced out the window as they pulled out of McKinley, though there was too much darkness to see. On second thought, she reached down for her purse to make sure her wallet wasn't in her bedroom and placed her own fake on the armrest between them, her yearbook photo smirking at them, showing that to any bartenders, she was Heidi Burns. "At least the AV club's good for more than tripping up in hallways," she told him and leaned back into her seat. "Push comes to shove, we could always just head back to my house and our hot tub."
Can someone please tell me how Sectionals ended?
I haven’t been sleeping very much and I guess that plus the stress got to me.
Are you serious? You fainted because of 'not sleeping very much' and stress? When I'm stressed and don't sleep well, I'm a bitch. I don't fall out.
Can someone please tell me how Sectionals ended?
All my mom is telling me is that I fainted, and nothing else. She doesn’t want to put any more stress on me, but I need to know. Please tell me we will made it through to Regionals…
And if we didn’t, I need you all to know I’m so sorry. I never want that to happen… I just wanted to be perfect
Yeah what the hell happened to you back there?

He swallowed when she agreed he possibly should just take her home. He didn’t want to. God, no. Even if tonight sucked, even if his dad grounded him for sneaking out, even if nothing happened, he didn’t want to be alone. She should not have this huge effect on her. He shouldn’t want her to be so close at all times. But it didn’t matter. He cared about her, and he was sure she cared about him. Hers was the only company he wanted, and he didn’t want to lose her. Not anytime soon. Her response that she’d come to be with him gave him hope things were alright, though he didn’t smile or speak. Kitty Wilde could up and leave at the next stop sign or red light if she wanted to, and he wouldn’t stop that. At her next statement, Ryder was silent. He thought that over and blushed a little. She was right, he’d made no definite plans, just asked her to come. Biting his lip, he didn’t look at her as he said, “Maybe I just wanted a dumb excuse to spend time with you tonight.” It was kind of true, he wanted to be with her that night and he would suggest anything to make it happen.
Not really knowing why, Ryder ended up pulling into the back school parking lot, shading the car beneath the trees lining the far back end of the lot. It was empty, of course, and the only place that subconciously came to mind as he drove. Shutting off the engine but leaving the car on so theybhad heat, he leaned back into his seat before turning to look at her, his brown eyes searching her own, trying to figure out what name would be used to describe that gray blue color. “Time to be you and me, a little privacy, more than a couple minutes between class. That’s what I want tonight. I don’t care what we do or how much trouble we get into. I just want whatever reason to spend with you.” He felt dumb saying that. Bad boys wouldn’t say that, after all. Screw bad boys, he thought, leaving over and capturing her lips in his own, sweetly kissing her before letting it deepens slightly. His hand raised to her cheek, cupping gently as his lips worked smoothly against her own, softly yet aggressively making a move on her mouth. A moment passed before their lips parted for breath. “The night is young and our’s,” he breathed, gaze flickering to hers. “What is one thing you’ve always wanted to do and don’t have the courage to do? Let’s make it happen. Let’s just.. Do something crazy.”
While Kitty was probably infamous among guys for being difficult in a relationship, but with Ryder, she felt no need to cause a scene, or to push buttons, or to dangle other guys' interest in her in front of him. And while his odd behavior was making her short with him, she wasn't going to just get up and walk away. They knew each other all too well by now to know that they were two people who figured their problems out on their own. Kitty stewed over her problems and Ryder liked to ignore his, but they liked to know that someone was there to listen despite the fact that neither of them were going to talk. She glanced over at him as he spoke, but only said, "You don't need an excuse," in response. The sophomore girl stayed quiet as he pulled into the William McKinley High School parking lot, at first wondering if his 'something crazy' involved breaking into school, but then discreetly relaxing as he just parked underneath some trees.
She glanced up as him as he looked over at her and searched her hazel eyes. The blonde pulled in her lips and pressed them together as he spoke, a weird sort or feeling churning in her stomach that only amplified as he leaned over to kiss her. She guess it was simple flattery by him, since she wasn't used to getting open revelations about his feelings for her, and she had to admit it was nice. Feeling his fingers against her cheek, she herself leaned in over the armrest between them, one hand cupping around his neck until they parted a few moments later. Her breath was hasty and short and she could barely hear his words, but she did, and the idea of it caused her to blush. As a girl who gave little credit to rules or authority, anything risky usually didn't take a lot of bravery, especially since she had uncanny knack for getting out of any consequences. Anything that took courage would be something personal, and even so she wasn't brave enough for that. "I always kind of wanted to steal one of Coach Sylvester's million trophies to see if she'd notice, but I was going to save that for a day when she wasn't there, so." She trailed off and gave a shrug. "What about you?"

Ryder didn’t glance over when Kitty called him her boyfriend. They were considering each other that or something, weren’t they? Still, hearing her say it out loud, to him, felt.. Different, weird, but it a good way. In fact, he wanted to be his normal self and grin at her, be dorky and ask “oh, so I’m your boyfriend now?” and start some flirty banter with her where they would be all smiles or whatever. But he didn’t. He stayed silent, gripping the steering wheel a little tighter with his one hand and clenching his jaw momentarily before muttering, “There’s nothing going on.” He didn’t need to embarrass himself by telling Kitty he was trying to be this sexy bad boy or something because he didn’t think she would stay interested in him if he didn’t even attempt to make things interesting. Or that he was just coping with everything stupid going on in his home life, with his dad. No. He wasn’t going to be weak. He was never weak. He took care of his troubles on his own, he didn’t ask for help and never accepted it, and would never admit to all of his troubles. He already let her in a little, maybe too far, in his problems, and he didn’t plan to do it again. He stayed silent after that, enjoying the feel of her small hand in his larger grasp.
Kitty kissed him back and Ryder was glad. If she rejected him and questioned him any more, he would probably go crazy. Their mouths moved tentatively together, Ryder keeping the kisses aggressive and not too loving and sweet like he normally did. There was still a sweet edge to the kisses, though, something he couldn’t help when they were like this, and he was insanely lost in the kiss between them. That was when her hand pressed against his shoulder and pushed him back towards his seat. Ryder let out a small noise of annoyance, his eyes opening to glance at her in curiosity. Hearing her tell him that they were in the street made Ryder blush, despite himself. Seeing her turn away, the boy glanced around, remembering where they were and sighing quietly as he leaned back into the driver’s seat. Feeling her hand squeeze his before letting it go, Ryder turned to look at her, hearing her final statement. He didn’t respond, just started driving again, though he wasn’t really sure where the hell he was driving to anywhere. Licking his lips and closing them tightly, holding her kiss in, the boy glanced over at her momentarily before saying, “There isn’t anything wrong with me tonight. I just want to have some fun, what’s wrong with that?” He winced at how defensive he sounded, and how stupid the outburst was, but he couldn’t help but let it out. “If you don’t want to hang out, I can just take you back,” he added, once more making a face at the words. What the hell was wrong with him tonight? He couldn’t even figure it out or justify it anymore.
Kitty let her hands fall into her lap and fold over her knee as she crossed them, hearing his sigh. She didn't know what she was doing wrong, or if anything was being done wrong at all. Should she be comforting or consoling him somehow? Should she be stomping off into the snow because he suddenly transformed into cold-shouldered jerk for the night, which she could've rolled with if it didn't seem like something was terribly amiss about it. The blonde didn't do relationships. Kitty did flings and flirtationships and physical gratification, sometimes called relationships whenever it was convenient in the situation. She didn't know how to pull someone out of a funk or a bad mood, though she was used to dealing with them in guys. She tended to attract or migrate the same type of complicated or dark humored types of guys, but it was easier that way, to let it go once it was clear it was over. She never understood how she had somehow caught Ryder's eye, since he was golden and she was.... not. Kitty guessed he was complicated in his own quiet suffer-in-silence way but this was not him.
As he excused his behavior by saying he just wanted to have fun and then suggested that maybe he should take her home, Kitty just looked at her reflection in the side view mirror, purposefully not focusing too hard on his words because she'd probably get defensive and fed up and say something hurtful. "Maybe you should," She agreed, though her tone was cautious, not final. "You're acting weird. Whatever. I came to hang out with you." She didn't know what else to say; She wasn't going to try to drag an explanation out of him. She had tried asking upfront and he blew it off, but she could understand that. She only didn't understand why he would want to ditch school, sneak out, hang out with her if something was wrong or bothering him. Sighing softly, Kitty glanced over at him. "We don't even have a plan what to do and you still snuck out and asked me to come with you."
Hollywood Week of American Idol!
I wasn’t being serious… it was a joke. But good thing I’m not going to try out.
Well you weren't obvious enough. Didn't want you getting your hopes up, everything knows American Idol sucks. It's a biased glorified popularity contest and half the people who get chosen are chosen simply because they'll probably be the next laughingstock of the country. It's inhumane.
Hollywood Week of American Idol!
I can’t wait to see who makes it and who get’s sent home. I kind of want to try out for this show when I turn sixteen just to see how far I can make it.
Oh, Mar, like America as a whole, the only people who have a chance of winning are white girls with teeny tiny waists and curves and white guys with big biceps and dreamboat eyes. You'd have to get some work done, and some confidence. No one likes a scritchy scratchy voiced pushover, Mousy- I mean, Marley.
Good luck on that, though.
Do you like Jake?
Maybe if I could get past the daddy, brother, and identity issues he seriously needs to figure out before bringing Little Miss Marley into it. It's pretty likely this week he might be Sweet Committed Boyfriend but next week he'll be Womanizing Leather-Wearing Dillhead again. To answer your question, I guess he's not the worst person around.

Ryder let out a breath as he sat back, flipping through the stations until settling on an old school classic rock one, whistling along with the old hit coming off the speakers. Tapping his fingers to the drum beat on the steering wheel, he glanced up in time to see Kitty walking towards the car, feeling like an idiot when his pursed lips shifted into a large smile and he swore he felt a flutter in his chest. No. He couldn’t act like that. Detention on Saturday with Jake was… Weird. The boys bickered, as per usual, but at some point, truths came out and insecurities spilled freely from them. He didn’t really know what he thought about the Puckerman anymore, but he got him a little more. And the guys talked, about a lot of things. Kitty was one of them. He had been surprised at Jake’s concern over both of them, but more so for him. Kitty was the kind of girl no one understood. Of course Ryder thought different. He knew his girl, he knew things she didn’t like to show. But the idea that maybe she preferred a guy like Jake—More popular amongst the girls, all brooding mysterious… It worried the boy who was more the All American nice guy. Seeing Kitty walking over, he knew this idea of his was dumb… But he would be a bit edgy and cool tonight. Anything to keep her interest.
Testing a no doubt ridiculous smirk, Ryder watched her slide into the car, about ready to say something sly, when Kitty beat him to the punch. He bit the inside of his cheek. He wasn’t going to dish out his insecurities to her randomly. Hell no. Gripping the steering wheel a moment, he relaxed and scoffed as he started up the engine again. “Nice to see you too, baby,” he muttered, the pet name slightly foreign. He’d much rather call her beautiful, but only nice guys did that. Driving down the street, he reached for her hand and held it between them, his thumb striking her knuckles gently. “Nothing is wrong with me,” he finally said smoothly, lying through a smirk. “What’s wrong with you?” he threw at her, glancing at her as they stopped by a stop sign. Without really thinking about it, he leaned over to steal a long kiss from her lips, enjoying the softness of her lips against his as he attempted to kiss her a little more aggressively. He wasn’t being himself tonight, not the nice guy he normally was. Bad boys. They were the universal type that got any girl, and tonight he’d be one.
Kitty looked over at him as he thought over her question, really trying to gauge his expression. It was pretty obvious he was thinking over something but she had no idea what. What in the world would cause Ryder Lynn to act so shady and complicated to her of all people? A bad grade? A fight with his dad? Was his constant bickering with Jake getting to him? Was he still mad at her for that other night? Once he answered her without actually answering anything Kitty felt one eyebrow raise, seriously considering the possibility that Ryder had a twin especially since twins were so plentiful around Lima. She felt placated some as he took her hand in a tender way that was more like him, but his lips twisted up in a strange looking smirk made her suspicious. Her facial expression stayed frozen as he proceeded to blow off her questioning and asked her what was wrong with her. "Nothing. Just trying to figure out what the hell is going on with my boyfriend," She replied, her cheeks turning pink almost immediately once she realized she'd been the first to define their relationship as officially boyfriend and girlfriend. She had a silent rule about that, and she'd just broken it.
As he leaned over to kiss her, she accepted it without much objection or hesitation, though she was keeping careful tabs on the time that passed. She was careful on the road due to many reasons, and she wasn't forgetting that they were at a stop sign, not a parking lot. But it was definitely Ryder, since she'd know his loving kiss just about anywhere. As she felt him intensify their kiss, she welcomed it, but knew it wasn't the time or place. One perfectly manicured hand reached up to shove at his shoulder in attempt for him to pull away, grey eyes holding a glint in them that they usually didn't. "Ryder, we're on the road," She reminded him in a hard tone, but turned away and decided not to press the matter anymore. Her hand was still wrapped up in his and she squeezed it before letting it go. Whatever was going on, she wasn't going to get mad at him about it without a good reason. "We can make out somewhere where we probably won't get rear ended."
Restless Hearts | Kyder
What the hell am I doing? The question repeated itself through his mind as he slithered out of his bedroom, quietly making his way towards the steps. It was quiet, for the most part, in the Lynn household, but he knew his family. Sleep didn’t come easy for them, there was something always keeping them up. The light seeping out from beneath Poppy’s bedroom door and the soft giggles coming from within, the sound of the television, on low, in his parents room, and the light coming from dad’s study at the end of the hallway told him the house was alive that night. He spared a glance to the large thick doors at the end of the hallway, the ones that left his dad in solitude as he went over work, or whatever it was he did in there. No one really knew. When Daniel Lynn was in his study, he was in another world, and you weren’t allowed to go inside or disturb whatever was going on in there. He shivered thinking about the brilliant man in there, working hard on a new case or something. His father wanted him to be just like him, to be Valedictorian, go to Harvard, end up in the same closed off study, far away from his family and the world. Which was okay, you know, because he was working, and being productive. Ryder hated it, the idea that he was supposed to be a mini Daniel Lynn, supposed to be just like his dad. How would the man feel if he knew? About his troubles reading? About his fear about his future?
Maybe that was his reason for tonight. For whatever reason, he decided to sneak out, meet up with Kitty Wilde, who he guessed was his girlfriend or something, and do something… Stupid. That was the only word to describe his plan for tonight. Sneak out, pick up Kitty, do something—anything. Slipping down the stairs swiftly, silently, he turned into the kitchen, ignoring Mili as she sat up alert. Stupid dog always had a tendency to ruin things for him. However, he was prepared. Swiftly, he tossed a few of those doggy snacks her way, waiting on her to be completely distracted, before climbing up onto the counter and pushing up the window just enough to slip his body out. It was the only window on the first floor that wasn’t connected to the alarm system, which made it the way to get out undetected. Closing the window behind him, he welcomed the wintery evening air as he climbed out of the bushes, following the tracks his mother left when going through the back yard in order to not add new tracks into the snow still clinging to the floor. Onto the driveway, he unlocked the driver’s seat of his dad’s Toyota and quietly started the car, pulling out. The moment he was on the street, a couple houses down from his own, Ryder hit the gas and began the short drive to where Kitty lived. He’d told her to meet him at the corner of her street, away from her family’s prying eyes. Finding himself there, he parked at the curb, leaning back and waiting on Kitty, slowly thinking up what would unfold this night for the pair.
Kitty had waited a few moments after Ryder's suggestion to sneak out and go somewhere to actually consider getting out of her bed. She had had a long day of working out and had jumped into her shower and then into her bed once she got home, which felt just right against her sore and tired muscles. Competition season was over, which left the Cheerios to cheer for the basketball team. It was technically optional for her, but she felt pretty useless without a game to prepare routines for or an audience to keep fit and ready for. It didn't hurt that Ryder was on the basketball team, either, and while they both were easy going about spending more time apart than together, she wouldn't have minded seeing more of the dark-haired boy she'd come to steadily know as someone she could rely on. Still, she knew a spontaneous decision to sneak out (and to ditch homework and skip classes the next day, of all things) from Ryder was likely to be followed up by a but. But it didn't, not even after she questioned him about it. Instead she got a Who cares? and a Are I picking you up or not? and soon was being called babe. This was definitely not typical responsible and studious Boy Wonder behavior who preferred to scribble sweet words in the margins of her notebook and called her cute or beautiful and mostly she wanted to figure out what was up.
So she pried herself from her pillows and did as she was told, for once though she didn't pay much attention to the time and wasn't in a hurry to get there within fifteen minutes. She only dressed to go out and ran a brush through her curly hair, patting at the tousled mess until it looked presentable enough for her liking and grabbed her purse and tip toed downstairs. Ducking through the laundry room since her dad and stepmother were busy being obnoxious in the living room, Kitty made her way out of the garage and onto the cold and snow-dusted concrete of her neighborhood full of big impressive houses with small less-than-impressive families. She wasn't worried much about her parents checking in on her, and was even less worried about the consequences she'd find if they did and found her room empty. Kitty didn't submit to it and they weren't around to enforce it anyway. Curling her arms around herself, she walked faster when she came to the familiar silhouette of Ryder's car and yanked the door open and got in without even looking in at him. Crossing her legs and pursing her lips out of pure habit, she kept her arms folded over her as she looked over to her boyfriend or somewhat boyfriend. Seeing no point as ever in beating around the bush now that they were together, she asked, "What is going on with you?"
Text: See you soon, babe.
Text: Okay.
Text: I'll be waiting.
Text: I'll get there eventually.
Watched the Superbowl.
Isn’t that like, what cheerleaders do?
No. Coach makes sure to let all of the Varsity Cheerios know that cheering for the unsuccessful and inferior football and basketball teams is optional and discouraged if we actually have a long practice the next day. We're mostly there for the competitions and I don't see much of a point yelling 'You can do it!' to a football team that clearly can never ever win.
