American feminist: Patriarchy is oppressing me and manspreading threatens my safety.

Me: Ah yes. The patriarchy. Too bad you can vote, drive, own land, marry who you want, divorce them, say what you want, wear what you want, go to school, and have any job your heart desires. But y'know... Manspreading is obviously more important than the thousands of women in the Middle East being arrested for not wearing their hijab on instagram. Or the Syrian crises. Or women being forced to marry someone that they don't love and have their children. Or sex slaves. But yeah. Manspreading is totally a real issue and we need to stop it immediately.
