It's a Guardian Eye you can wear, to bring an extra side-eye to any dramatic outing! This one is a test run, but it was quite fun to make...

I finished this piece last night, and it glows in the dark! Including the teeth, which makes me extra happy...

My reverse mermaid anglerfish is all done! The original has sold, but prints are now available, which is nice. (Sadly they won't glow, like the original does. I guess this means I need to paint other versions, huh?)

What do you do when you find a cute carousel horse at the surplus shop? You Gothinate it, naturally! There are loads of tiny sculpted bones and glow in the dark bits, and I'm proud of her Mari Lwyd skull on the top!

I was having a rough week, and this was so cathartic to stitch. My favorite bits were the tiny eyeball and the bay leaf. Ya gotta have a bay leaf in the soup, you know?

I wanted something aggressively whimsical, so I stitched up Lizzy the Faerie Snail. She's totes a little wand, and she's here to grant your wishes, and then flutter into your garden to eat your kale and whatnot.

One of the many things I do is teach embroidery classes, and my thread painting class features a little fieldmouse with a dandelion. It's been fun watching the evolution of my little mice, from fuzzy brown guys, to hot pink, and now this very very orange little fellow...
