I was so baffled at how this scene from the finale was trying to look "peaceful" and "beautiful" like wtf

The abstractions are living people that are stuck in a state where they feel constantly terrified and disoriented (the reason they usually try to attack everything they see), being abstracted feels like literal hell, we are looking at beings who are trapped in eternal torture and yet we're supposed to be like aww pretty fishes
