Have you read the fucking book? Her being fat plays into the whole story. Her being fat is a big reason she is picked on. Her being fat is why they use pigs blood because they are calling her a pig. It fucking matters to the god damn story of a weird tragic girl being bullied for being different. As happy as I am with Mike Flanagan taking the project and doing his spin, it still sucks that she isn't a fat girl.
