Flashback Friday. I can't believe how much we used to be into freestyle lol
I've been reading some writing by the mystic sufi poet Hafiz and came across this gem that I can't get out of my mind. Simply beautiful. #mystic #sufi #sufic #poet #poem #poetry #writing #lit #prose #persian #instamood #igers #beautiful #beauty #inspiration #god #love #writing #sing #song #write #read #wisdom #words

And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make. đ (at The Marina, San Francisco )
âThe earliest evidence for powerful rites intended to affect the physical or spiritual world in some way comes from the very earliest Western civilizations to leave written records. Curse tablets and spells have been found among the cuneiform writing of the great Mesopotamian city-states. The production of this fragmentary evidence was obviously limited to the small, literate class of priestly scribes that dominated these cities, and these sources must mask a much larger and no doubtless unrecoverable world of common or popular spells, charms, and other rites.â
-Micahel D. Bailey, from his book  Magic and Superstition in Europe
From paganism to theism, the world of light and dark forces has long been been a subject of contemplation in humanity. My ancestors knew truth all along.

The QWERTY Effect: How Keyboards Are Changing Our Language
Itâs long been thought that how a word sounds â its very phonemes â can be related in some ways to what that word means. But language is no longer solely oral. Much of our word production happens not in our throats and mouths but on our keyboards. Could that process shape a wordâs meaning as well?
Thatâs the contention of an intriguing new paper by linguists Kyle Jasmin and Daniel Casasanto. They argue that because of the QWERTY keyboardâs asymmetrical shape (more letters on the left than the right), words dominated by right-side letters âacquire more positive valencesâ â that is to say, they become more likable. Their argument is that because its easier for your fingers to find the correct letters for typing right-side dominated words, the words subtly gain favor in your mind.

Professor Chris Idzikowski, director of the Sleep Assessment and Advisory Service, has analysed six common sleeping positions - and found that each sleep position is linked to a particular personality type.
Thinker: Those who curl up in the foetus position are described as tough on the outside but sensitive at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax.
Log (15%): Lying on your side with both arms down by your side. These sleepers are easy going, social people who like being part of the in-crowd, and who are trusting of strangers. However, they may be gullible.
The yearner (13%): People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it.
Soldier (8%): Lying on your back with both arms pinned to your sides. People who sleep in this position are generally quiet and reserved. They donât like a fuss, but set themselves and others high standards.
Freefall (7%): Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and donât like criticism, or extreme situation
Stargazer (5%): Lying on your back with both arms up around the pillow. These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others, and offer help when needed. They generally donât like to be the centre of attention. (img)

Word of the day
âChristmasâ is a compound word originating in the term âChristâs Massâ.
It is derived from the Middle English Cristemasse, which is from Old English CrīstesmÊsse, a phrase first recorded in 1038.
Little Moments
Sometimes it feels like I am always in transition. Iâm always reaching for a higher goal or striving for a better something or another. While this is usually motivating, I have realized that I need to learn to better embrace some things just for what they are. It sounds so simple and I have heard it plenty of times before but lately it resonates.
We all experience great milestones, successes, and failures that can shape our lives but itâs good to remember that so much of life is lived in those small hours and the little moments.
With the way Iâm feeling tonight, I donât trust myself to drink Lest I get the courage to call you up, and say what I really think

In these little moments, get your cards out, I am waiting In these little moments, lay your cards out, I am waiting By the waterside summer wading in sunder, girl get your head right By the waterside, summer wading, get your head right
