may I please ask for a Joe Mazello imagine?I know that John is retired from the spotlight,but I was wondering that he made an exception and wanted to pick himself the actress who plays his wife on film(they've been married since 1975,that's something) and they pick yn and Joe,like him think it's the perfect choice (even more for Joe for romantic reasons😍💏)

ok YES (ive been struggling actually writing fics so i went with headcannons):

let’s say you’re a fairly well known actress, so the prospect of playing opposite you is a little nerve wracking for joe (which is saying something, he’s worked with jeff goldblum

but it might be because he saw your breakout movie and developed maybe a little maybe a huge crush on you

and the other guys teased him so much. but they got to meet their onscreen wives at rehearsals, and he would only meet you a few days before filming because of your schedule (and because john’s family/wife played a really big role, they’re focusing on that aspect of him for the movie, so you get a little more screen time with him)

and when dexter said you had the seal of approval from john himself, joe knew he was going to work with someone completely magical.
