"Unleash your inner badass!"
In celebration of Lauren Fleshman’s appearance on the June cover of Runner’s World, Oiselle has released a Lauren Fleshman “power doll”. Seriously.
My favorite part is her little speech bubbles, “You are PUMPED. You are READY. You are the shiznit!”
Hands down, best paper doll ever.
You can get one of your very own here: http://www.oiselle.com/blog/runner%E2%80%99s-world-cover-lauren-fleshman-you-win

i watched this on the news, it was in melbourne in 2009, it’s about a lady that was waiting for the train, and she had her baby in a pram, and as the train was coming the pram rolled onto the tracks, the lady closest to the edge is the mother, she tried to grab the pram but it feel onto the track, amazingly the baby survived with literally only a scratch on the forehead because it was still strapped securley into the pram, people say that the dark shadow over the pram is some kinda of guardian angel that kept the baby alive
IT’S 4 IN THE MORNING AND I AM SO CREEPED OUT BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT BLACK SHADOW BEFORE OMFG
its interesting cause i just checked google for that image just in case it might be photoshopped but its true.
seeing the ntv news and the images they posted, the shadow is visible on there too (sorry its in german).

EPILOGUE
Its been a week and a half since I came home from the greatest (off)road trip I have ever known - nearly 12,000 miles over three months in two countries. Dozens of wrong turns, scores of breakdowns, hundreds of dirt roads, and an equal number of tacos in our southern neighbor.
Life is quickly moving forward. Chris is already on his way to a new job with Tesla Motors and I’ve found work with a marketing company in Atlanta. I have also already sold my motorcycle. The thousands of hard miles I have put on it have left it looking like an old and overburdened Himalayan pack mule, unsure if the next step will be its last. There will be more adventures in the future, but work to be done in the meantime.
The trip was a year in the making and, leaving my job for two wheels and a dirt road and spending life on the run for a summer - it has been a fantastic thing. I have learned a little about motorcycles, a lot about the kindness of strangers, and, hopefully, a bit about myself along the way. The wild adventures of the last three months still seem as improbable and impossible as before their start. And as magnificent.
Is there really such a thing as free will, or are our destinies shaped by forces beyond our control? Here’s one way to think about that question: Maybe some people actually have more free will than others. Not because they have more money. (Many rich folks are under the spell of their...
Your soulmate is not someone that comes into your life peacefully. It is who comes to make you question things, who changes your reality, somebody that marks a before and after in your life. It is not the human being everyone has idealized, but an ordinary person, who manages to revolutionize your world in a second…

Leaving Home
Heading out on the road is different now that I’m older. Over the past decade, I’ve become so aware of the ties that bind me as I make more commitments, the commitments that make me who I am - love, home, work, family, community - the everyday commitments I value to the depth of my core and yet struggle with as I settle down and possibilities narrow.
Often I’ve resented the time it takes to cover all my bases. I find myself hurrying up to get life done so I can get to what matters. Where is the time for adventure, for finding that freedom that connects me to my essential being? I’ve come to understand that while I yearn for the freedom from the mundane that the road brings, I thrive within the responsibility that comes from everyday love and toil.
How do I reconcile leaving my attachments as I turn toward adventure on the road? I am so attached to so much.
