Hakuryuu frowned as he stared out into the vast ocean as he clenched his spear, knowing that he would be back home at Kou soon enough. It was kind of ironic that he found his heart to be feeling quite heavy as he figured that most people would have loved the feeling of being close to their homes; however, he figured that it would never applicable to him as he had lost his home long ago. What awaited for him in Kou was just memories from a past that he canât let go of and a family who had betrayed him.
â-With a heavy sigh, he raised his hand to massage his forehead. He was not looking forward to coming home at all, but, there was no other choice; that is, if he were to fulfill the mission that his deceased brothers had given him.
It wasnât for another couple of minutes that he finally decided to just go back to his cabin and turn in for the night as his thoughts were starting to get a bit dark once again. Hopefully, sleep would be kind to him.Â
â-But, not too long after, he was awoken when he heard a lot of people scream and panic.Â
Curious as to what was happening, he got his spear and immediately went outside to see what was happeningâ- only to find out that the ship that he was one was, once again, being raided by pirates who, also, had magical tools with them. Oh joy. Having been reminded of what happened back at Madauraâs hideout had irked him and, soon enough, he decided to fight them using the newly-found power that he had acquired.Â
And, even though heâd won, it seems that he had underestimated them as he found himself completely drenched out of magoi. Not too long after, he transformed back into his normal self; losing his consciousness as he fell into the ocean .
It wasnât until a few hours had past that he finally regained his consciousness. Slowly, he started to open his eyes and, least to say, he was very confused as to why he was lying down on a luxurious bedâ- but, it was when he heard a kind and gentle voice speak out to him that he realized that he must have been saved. Turning his head slightly to meet the owner of the voice, he couldnât help but to pale at the sight of his mother.
"MâŚMotherâŚ" He frowned. "âŚWhat are you⌠what are you doing here?"
