BILLJER COFFEE SHOP FIRST DATE 💝💝
Jerry sighed as he checked his wrist, as if a watch would suddenly appear to tell him Bill was 20 minutes late already. Jerry had done everything to be sure this was perfect, yet neglected the fact his bastard friend was always fashionably late to things he found 'unimportant'.
In Bill's room, he was angrily knocking things off shelves as he struggled to tie his tie. Was his dad's crumpled, old, misfitting suit much too formal for a first date, let alone one in a coffee shop? Absolutely! Did he really care? No. His mom had always told him that girls liked men who dressed well, and Jerry was practically a girl, wasn't he?
The panic and anger only rose when his flipphone started ringing and he saw Jerry's number on the small screen. He let out a loud, annoyed sigh before picking it up.
"Hello?" His voice was agitated and he was clearly pissed off, but he was at least attempting to conceal it.
"Beedee beedee beedee... you're late, Buck."
Bill cursed both internally and externally as he suddenly snapped his phone shut and ran out the door. Amanda, Bill's mom, yelled after him but he didn't even pause. How could he have let time fly like that? Maybe he shouldn't have spent so long trying to find that damn suit and just went in normal clothing!
A loud slam came from the front of the coffee shop as Bill finally arrived, now exactly 35 minutes late to a date that would likely end horribly. Or, that's what Bill thought, until he saw Jerry. The fight drained out of him, even if he kept up the facade of anger. Jerry looked so handsome in this lighting, dim yet still illuminated perfectly. Bill shook off his thoughts, disgusted with his faggoty mind.
"Don't look so happy to see me." The brunette remarked, seeing Jerry's face that was twisted into a mock smile.
He was upset, even an idiot like Bill could see that. Yet, when Bill spoke, Jerry perked up and finally glanced around, gaze landing on Bill's face.
"You actually came," The blonde pulled out a chair for Bill, trying to be gentlemanly but just coming off as slightly desperate. He made sure that Bill would only have to scoot a little when he sat down, trying to be nice, but not being nice enough to push the chair in for him.
An awkward silence fell over the two of them, both of them being too proud to really be the first to talk. This was the first time either of them had been on a date, let alone one with... a boy. Unless you counted Jerry's friendship with Agnes that everyone else saw as Jerry trying to get a girlfriend.
Bill finally coughed into his fist before speaking, straightening out his suit jacket and slightly fixing his hair. "So... Jer, seen any good movies lately?"
"smooth..." Bill thought right after speaking, he and Jerry watched all of the same movies after all, they went to see all of them together with the club. Could he have come up with a *worse* conversation starter?
"Oh! I saw the The Legend Of Zelda cartoon last night!" Bill perked up at Jerry's excited response.
It wasn't a movie, but it was something Bill hadn't watched. He never got into that faggoty fantasy shit, but if this was what they had to talk about, he supposed he could deal with it. before he could respond though, a waitress came up to talk to them, asking for their order.
"We aren't ordering yet." Bill answered, much more hostile than needed. Then again, when was Bill not hostile towards service workers, or anyone really.
Jerry cringed as the waitress glared a bit at Bill after his hostile tone before walking off. "That was kind of..." Jerry trailed off, clearly thing better of trying to fix Bill's hostility.
Even being kidnapped and almost brainwashed did nothing to Bill, he was truly rotten down to his bone marrow. Not that Jerry even imagined saying any of that aloud. This date was awkward enough without criticism.
"A-anyways," pause "what about you, Bill?"
Bill's gaze finally snapped back to Jerry, distracted from staring down the waitress who had dared to interrupt his date. It took him a second to register what Jerry had said before he answered back.
"I guess that new Batman movie was good, I didn't like how Pete was talking all the way through the damn movie though."
"Beedee beedeee beedee, preach, Buck."
Bill had to smile slightly at Jerry's agreement, maybe this date wouldn't be so awful after all.
