We had a bit of a scare with Ginger. She had lost a significant amount of weight over a couple of weeks, and when we took her to the vet they found a lump in her intestines. The results of the blood work and biopsy couldn't confirm what the growth was, but she still had to undergo major bowel surgery to get it removed, and luckily they didn't find it had spread anywhere else. The team at Glen Huntly Road Veterinary Clinic did such an amazing job and Ginger is now recovering well, but not out of the woods just yet. There is still a risk of infection in the week following surgery, and she also needs to be able to poop properly before she can come home. So, Ginger, please poo soon so you can come home.
