“sell it,” almost as if it was an obvious answer. truth be told, terrance hadn’t always dreamed of living in la. the traffic was indescribable, but that wasn’t even the end of it. there was no better option for anyone out there, other than sitting in an hours long wait for a drive that should take you twenty minutes.

Avantika glanced around the gaming centre, surprised that while she’d seen it from the outside, she’d never actually ventured inside until a colleague mentioned to her that she should come for a low-key evening. And by this point, Avantika was two drinks down and definitely enjoying herself as she played darts. “I bet you a twenty that you can’t hit the bulls eye, but if you do…I’ll give you the money and we can go around round. Deal?”

terrance couldn’t help but laugh, eyebrows raising as the other threw him nothing less than a bet. a fun bet, but it was a bet. was he good at darts? absolutely not, but why not indulge? “what if i said i bet you twenty bucks that you can’t do it either?” he took a sip of his beer before placing it onto one of the bar tables beside them. “what would i get then?”
