After one of Tony’s long, exhausting party’s, you were finally home. You unlocked the door of your house and walked inside. Before you were pregnant, you really did enjoy Tony’s party’s. But now you were seven months pregnant and everything had changed. The support from the Avengers was incredibly amazing, but you missed the support of one guy. The father of your baby, Bruce Banner. Bruce left before he even knew that you were pregnant. You had tried to contact him, but you failed. You couldn’t believe it when you found out you were pregnant. How was it even possible? You still had no idea.

When you walked into the living room, someone was lying on your couch. You tried not to scream when you saw it was Bruce.

‘’Oh my God!’’ you gasped. Bruce sat straight immediately.

‘’What the hell are you doing in my house?’’ You shouted. Bruce looked helpless at you.

‘’Sorry- I still had the key and I.. I didn’t expect you to be home this early. Oh God, Y/N. I’m really sorry I didn’t want to scare you, I wanted to come over tomorrow but-‘’ his gaze was focused on your belly now. In a reflex your hand was rested on your belly.

‘’W-what?’’ he sputtered. ‘’Is that-‘’

‘’Yes. That’s yours,’’ you said, angry. Why didn’t he call you in this seven months he was gone? You felt so angry, but you knew it was not a good idea to be angry around Bruce.

‘’Oh my God. H-how?’’

‘’Believe me, If I knew I would tell you,’’ you said. For a moment both of you said nothing. Then you spoke. ‘’You could have called you know, I tried to contact you as soon as I found out!’’ You couldn’t help it, but you were shouting the last part of your sentence. His eyes were big and he walked over to you.

‘’I’m so sorry.. If I-‘’

‘’I don’t need your apologizes!’’ you snapped.

‘’Let me for God’s sake finish my sentences!’’ he shouted. You said nothing. You did not want to make him angry. Bruce took a deep breath and continued.

‘’Really, Y/N. I’m so sorry for leaving.. I just felt like the right thing to do. I couldn’t control myself. I didn’t want to hurt you,’’ he said.

‘’I guess it’s too late for that,’’ you whispered. He put his arms around you and you didn’t protest. You missed the feeling of his arms around you so much.

‘’I’m so, so, so sorry,’’ Bruce whispered as he hold you tight.

‘’Is it a boy or a girl?’’ You smiled a little at his words.

‘’I don’t know yet.’’ Bruce nodded.

‘’Please stay,’’ you said quietly after a while.

‘’I will, I promise. I love you,’’ Bruce said and you smiled, although he couldn’t see it. You knew there were a lot of things to fix, but it would be alright. 

‘’I love you too.’’

‘’Goodmorning!’’ you said with a warm smile when you entered the kitchen of the Avengers tower. Steve smiled and waved at you. Bucky didn’t even look at you, but when he heard your voice he turned around and walked away quikly.

‘’What’s wrong with him?’’ you asked Steve, confused. Bucky was here now for like 6 weeks and at first the two of you were pretty close. Now he was avoiding you. And you had no idea why.

‘’I don’t know,’’ Steve answered. 

‘’He is avoiding me for like three weeks now,’’ you sighed. Steve was your best friend here, you guys talked a lot and were very close.

‘’Maybe it just seems like he’s avoiding you,’’ Steve offered.

‘’Oh no,’’ you started. ‘’When he sees me, he immediately walks away. That can’t be a coincidence.’’ 

‘’Then you need to talk to him. Tell him what’s bothering you.’’ You stared at your best friend.

‘’That’s like the worst idea you ever had. How can I even approach him when he’s avoiding me?’’ you asked. 

‘’Well.. I don’t know. Just think about it,’’ the captain said. 

Of course you thought about it. You had thought about it all day long. You really missed Bucky. You missed his tight hugs and cheesy smiles. You even missed the discussions you guys had. When you thought about him, you realised your feeling for him went maybe a little further than just friends. But having Bucky back as friend would be good enough. Because you knew he wouldn’t feel the same about you. 

Not really paying attention, you bumped into someone.

‘’Sorry!’’ you said immediately, not even knowing who it was.

‘’No problem,’’ a deep voice whispered. Bucky. You could even recognize that voice in your sleep.

‘’Oh, great! I wanted to talk to you,’’ you told him honestly. 

‘’Actually, I gotta-‘’ Bucky started, but you cut him off.‘

’I’m absolutely done with the fact that you’re avoiding me, Barnes. Just let me ask one question.’’ He stared and nodded.

‘’Why exactly are you avoiding me?’’ He continued staring at you and said nothing.

‘’I thought we were friends, Bucky. Apparently I was wrong,’’ you murmured. 

‘’No, no. We were friends, it’s just..’’ he sputtered. ‘’It’s just.. I really like you, Y/N. And I can’t stand the fact that you’re dating Steve.’’ Now you were staring at him. 

‘’I’m.. I’m not dating Steve,’’ you said, blushing. ‘’He’s my best friend.. nothing more than that.’’

‘’Oh,’’ Bucky said, he was blushing too. For a moment the two of you were quiet and just staring at each other. Then he pulled you closer and before you could even react, you felt his lips on top of yours. You kissed him back immediately and put your arms around his neck. When he pulled away, both of you were smiling. You should thank Steve later for his great idea.

After a long mission you, and the rest of the team, sat quietly on the plane. Tony was controlling the plane, Natasha and Clint were fighting about something (you had no idea about what, probably something stupid, like always), Bruce was sitting on a chair, he seemed extremely tired, Wanda was staring out of a window, just like you. And Steve was talking to your boyfriend, Sam Wilson.

‘’What do you think, Y/N?’’ Sam asked. Honestly, you had no idea. You didn’t even know where they were talking about.

‘’Yeah.. amazing,’’ you murmured and continued staring out of the window. You heard Steve laugh. Sam sighed.

‘’You are literally paying no attention!’’ he shouted in your ear. You gave him one of your deathly stares.

‘’There’s no reason to shout. I’m sitting next to you, in case you didn’t notice.’’

‘’Okay!’’ he shouted again.

‘’Shut up, Sam. I’m tired,’’ you said, being annoyed now. He put his arms around you and rested his chin on your shoulder. It seemed quite uncomfortable for him to sit like that.

‘’But I love you. And you’re hot when you’re tired,’’ he smiled. You sighed. Though, you couldn’t hide a little smile.

‘’You are acting childish,’’ you told him. Helpless you looked at Steve.

‘’Help me,’’ you said to the captain. He just smiled at you.

‘’Falcon is your problem, Y/N,’’ he said and walked away with the same cheesy smile.

‘’You are no help!’’ you shouted.  

‘’I know you still love me,’’ Sam whispered. You just smiled. He was right. It didn’t matter how childish your boyfriend would act. You would always love him.

‘’Yeah, I do,’’ you said. You rested your head on his shoulder and closed your eyes.

‘’See, you didn’t need my help for that!’’ Steve shouted over to the two of you.

I’m sorry. This one was a little bit short. And it wasn’t my best one shot. I hope you still liked it!

It is so incredibly cold, you thought when you looked for your favorite blanket. It was the only thing that could possibly keep you warm these days. It was winter in America and it was, as always, very cold. However, Tony decided to do an experiment and because of that the heater was broken. He promised us it would be fixed in a few days, but here we are. You sighed when you noticed your fuzzy blanket was gone and walked to the living room, hoping it would be there.

When you arrived in the living room you saw Bucky on the couch. With your favorite blanket.

‘’Hey Barnes, I didn’t know you got permission for taking my blanket,’’ you joked. He looked at you with a shocked expression on his face. It made him look very cute.

‘’Just kidding,’’ you murmured. He smiled innocently.

‘’Sorry, Y/N. It’s such a nice, warm blanket,’’ he explained to you.

‘’No problem,’’ you lied. You knew it was a nice blanket. And you really wanted it back, because it was so cold. But he really seemed to enjoy the warmth of the blanket so you said nothing. You walked to the kitchen and looked for tea.

‘’You can join me,’’ you heard Bucky say. You froze and turned around, so you could face him.

‘’W-what?’’ you asked him and blushed. It was a great idea, but you hesitated. You had a crush on Bucky for a while now and the idea of being that close to him made you really nervous.

‘’C’mon, I’m not that scary.’’ That only made you blush more. Though, you walked over to the couch and sat down next to him. He pulled you closer, so he could put his arms around you. You laid your head on his shoulder and he pulled the blanket over the two of you.

‘’This is so much better,’’ you said when you felt the warmth of the blanket and Bucky. He chuckled and started playing with your hair. You couldn’t help but blush when his human fingers went through your hair. His metal hand rested on your hip.

‘’You’re cute when you blush, doll,’’ Bucky said with an amused grin.

‘’Shut up,’’ you said, smiling. You closed your eyes, completely forgotten about the fact that it was still very cold in the apartment.

‘’Be careful, I love you,’’ you said to your fiancé before he entered the car.

‘’I love you too, doll. I’ll be back soon,’’ was his answer. And the last thing you had ever hear him say. You wished you could see him one more time. Just once. But it was impossible. Your fiancé, Bucky Barnes, died in World War II. And you missed him incredibly much.

You and your best friend Steve Rogers were a team back in the 40′s. Bucky was also a part of the team. You were a smart girl and an amazing fighter. That’s why you worked for the U.S army. You met Bucky in the army and you two fell for each other immediately. When he proposed to you, you didn’t even hesitate. Bucky was very important to you. He was also the one who introduced you to Steve Rogers. From that moment on the three of you always fought together and were very close. But one day, all of that fell apart.

Steve and Bucky went on a mission together and you stayed in the camp with Peggy. You hated the fact that you weren’t with them. When Steve came back, he told you Bucky fell out of the train. He died. And you couldn’t stop crying. You cried for days, you knew you needed to move on. But you couldn’t. You just didn’t know how.

A few weeks later it was time to fight Hydra. You still felt terrible but decided it was important to do this mission. Almost everyone knows the terrible story.  You entered the plane, together with Steve, to fight Hydra for the last time. But the plane crashed. Steve and you got stuck in the ice and were frozen for a very long time.

And now, seventy years later, you were a part of the Avengers. Right now you were on a mission and got shot in your leg. Because of that you couldn’t help Steve, Natasha and Sam, they were fighting the Winter Soldier. The pain you felt in your leg was annoying, but you couldn’t do anything about it. You just needed to wait.

‘’Y/N. You need to distract him!’’ Steve shouted over to you after a while.

‘’How am I supposed to distract him? I can’t even walk!’’ you shouted back.

‘’Don’t worry! I’ll make sure he doesn’t catch you!’’ You sighed but knew there was no other choice. Hydra was winning and Natasha was shot too. With all of your energy you stood up and immediately the Winter Soldier noticed you. But he didn’t move. He just.. stared at you. A little bit nervous you looked at Steve, who was as much confused as you were.

‘’Y/N?’’ You froze when you heard his voice. You grabbed the car before you fell on the ground. The Winter Soldier took off his mask and looked at you. You’d almost a heart attack when you saw his face. It was really him.

‘’B-Bucky?’’ you sputtered. How was this possible? Your fiancé died seventy years ago, right? Again, you looked at Steve. His eyes were big and didn’t move either.

‘’O.. O my god. O my god.’’ You had no idea what to say. Was this even real? You took a few steps. It was hard, but you weren’t behind the car anymore. When he saw that you were shot, he hurried over to you and pulled you into a tight hug.

‘’O my gosh,’’ you cried. ‘’I thought you were dead.’’ He just pulled you closer when you said this.

‘’I love you so much,’’ he whispered. He sounded scared. You knew he had not chosen for this. For being the Winter Soldier. He would never do that.

‘’I love you too, Buck. Everything is going to be okay.’’

You stared at of your window. Loki sat on your bed, staring at you.

‘’You need to tell him, love,’’ he said. You sighed.

‘’I know, I’m just looking for the right words,’’ you told your boyfriend.

‘’How about.. ‘Hey, Tony. I’m pregnant’,’’ Loki said. ‘’Just be straight to the point.’’ You gave him one of your deathly stares and turned your back at him. Tony was your older brother and he didn’t like Loki. You could say he hated him.

‘’I’m serious, Y/N,’’ you heard Loki say.

‘’Yeah..’’ you murmured and sighed again. The other Avengers already knew you were pregnant, it was a lot more easy to tell them, because they weren’t that protective over you as your brother was.

‘’You know, I’m just going to tell him right now,’’ you said and stormed out of the room before Loki could even answer.

 ‘’Hey, Y/N,’’ Natasha said when you entered the kitchen of the Stark Tower.

‘’Hi,’’ you said. ‘’Where’s Tony?’’

‘’Probably in the lab,’’ she answered and you walked over to the elevator.

‘’Y/N! How are you and the baby doing?’’ Steve said with a big smile when you walked past him. At that exact moment, Tony walked out of the elevator.

‘’Baby?’’ he asked, confused. Your eyes widened. Steve looked shocked. Tony was still looking confused.

‘’Oh God. I’m so-‘’ Steve started, but you just shook your head.

‘’I was going to tell him anyway,’’ you said and then looked at Tony.

‘’Tell me what?’’ he asked. Steve, who was still shocked, walked away from the two of you.

‘’Well.. uh..’’ You started. ‘’I’m pregnant.’’ Tony’s expression went from confused to shocked.

‘’You must be kidding,’’ was all he said.

‘’Actually, I’m not,’’ you said and stared at your shoes. You felt a little bit scared, he didn’t look happy. He looked angry. Very angry.

‘’Y/N Y/MN Stark. Are you out of your mind?’’ He shouted the last part, which made you step backwards.

‘’How long?’’ he asked, still looking angry.

‘’Three months,’’ you said quietly.

‘’Three months?’’ he shouted. ‘’Why didn’t you tell me earlier? Is Loki the dad?’’

‘’I’m so sorry, Tony. I-I just didn’t know how to tell you,’’ you sputtered. ‘’I know you don’t like him but yeah.. he is.’’ You looked at your brother, feeling guilty you haven’t told him earlier.

‘’Dear Lord,’’ he murmured.

‘’I’m really, really, really sorry,’’ you said. He sighed, but didn’t look that angry anymore.

‘’Just promise me you’ll call him Tony Jr. if it’s a boy,’’ he joked. You chuckled. He still looked a little bit sad, but you were glad he was joking again.

‘’Deal,’’ you said with a smile. You hoped he knew you were kidding. He pulled you into a tight hug.

‘’You’re going to be a good mum, little sis,’’ he said. ‘’I don’t know if your dark boyfriend will be a good dad but, you know, maybe he’ll surprise me.’’ You just ignored his last sentence, knowing someday he would be okay with it. Maybe not now, but if you were happy, he was too. Only he would never admit that.
