Edit: I noticed some confusion, so I’ll explain it a bit. In Vedic astrology looking at the planet with the lowest or earliest degree (Darakaraka) will give you an idea of the type of romantic partners you attract or feel attracted towards.
Mars and Saturn DK makes you feel attracted towards partners that enjoy engaging into sexual experiences that imply restrictions or power play in some way. If you’re not into it, then they might be the one’s awakening that side of you. It’s definitely much more than just that, but the picture made me giggle.

I’ve observed that natives with Rahu in 2H often comes from families that have already amassed a certain amount of wealth, comfort, power, skills, or talents, whereas Ketu in 2H becomes the one who builds it all in order to elevate their entire family line along with them.
Today, Aga Khan IV showed up on my IG feed, so I got curious and found Rahu in his 2H, he comes from a long line of ancestral wealth and royalty. Then, I randomly looked into Brad Pitt and boom, there’s Ketu in the 2H, guess who else has this placement? Elon Musk, and many other individuals who had to put their own efforts in order to achieve wealth, power, or recognition as well to a level no one in their family line ever had before.
I also remembered metting someone who has Rahu in 2H that enjoys a very lavish lifestyle, and it definitely has family times. I will note however, that this individual has been able to gain lots of his own personal wealth, but through shady deals, which makes sense considering Rahu’s illusory nature + link to underworld activity.
Worth mentioning as well that in all cases I’ve seen a massive increase of wealth, almost without a miss, the dispositors of the nodes are well placed (domicile or exalted).
Now, this is not to say that debilitation wouldn’t give good results, for example:
Eddie Murphy has Rahu in 2H with its dispositor debilitated (Mercury in Pisces), and he dealt with a lot of difficulties before reaching the point of fame and success that he has now.
His father was an amateur actor and comedian. Those were the family resources that Eddie had to his advantage, even through he never got to be close with his own father he found a way to flip it to his benefit!
Yes, if it shines like gold it can be gold, but how it was obtained poses a more important question.
I have moon rahu conjunction in 10th house but I want to ask that my rahu and venus are not sitting in the same but their nakshatras are same , within 10 degrees so is this a conjunction or it is nothing?
So while reading my chart, should I consider venus and rahu together or should I consider them separately as they are in different houses??

Yes, if the planets are within the same nakshatra it’s still considered that they influence each other.
Either way, regardless if it’s Venus or Rahu in the 10th some of the things I mentioned will apply to you. The results will of course depend on the strength of planet, dispositor, and mahadasha.
She’s an instagram influencer who was nice enough to share her birthdate with me! Her chart is very interesting, so I’ll be mentioning below the fame and beauty placements I see in her chart.
Fame & Social Media:
Sun-Mercury-Mars in Gemini, meaning that any role or career focus oriented towards sharing her voice, thoughts, knowledge, etc is ideal for her.
Venus-Rahu in Cancer sitting in the 10th house of public reputation, status, fame, profession, etc. This is a powerful combination for obtaining a big following, wealth, foreign opportunities, etc. It gives a lot magnetism and material wealth as Rahu gets along very well with Venus. I mentioned in a previous post how having either the planet, Rahu, or both in 7th or 10th magnifies your fame. She has both in 10H of D1, and Venus in 7H in D9.
The ruler of the 11th (social media) and 7th house (clients) are in conjunction. Her fans, friends, and networking groups feel driven to make business with her. It makes you gain fame easily as well.
Her chart ruler sits in the 10th house, which means that she’s naturally driven towards her career, status, and fame. It’s second nature for her to be popular or well known.
Venus in the 10th makes one be known for working in beautiful environments and workplaces. They could be working from home, and still style their area in a certain pleasant way. Designers are seen with this placement, and well known artists as well.
Beauty:
Libra ASC and the ruler is conjunct Rahu. It gives her an outwardly type of beauty. Her eyes are big and easy to stare at for long periods of time. A striking type of beauty that pulls you in, as the nodes usually do.
Venus in Cancer is pretty good since the planet finds comfort within the 4th house. It makes someone be naturally interested in being feminine, soft, and seeking self care often.
Moon in Mercury nakshatras are usually the IT girls who set trends, and easily stand out. They are flexible and versatile, which audiences tend to enjoy. Hers being in Scorpio adds on to the mystery and allure, despite the affliction.
Venus in her 10th house allows her to be widely perceived as physically attractive by big masses.
She’s currently running her Venus mahadasha, meaning that her life has been (and will continue to be for a few years) all about beauty, aesthetics, finances, love, etc in almost obsessive way since it’s in connection to Rahu. It’s glow up after glow up after glow up.
Update 2026:
I also wanted to note that Moon in Scorpio, specifically Jyeshtha, are known for being very driven towards achieving their goals and ambitions. They are associated with being "the elder" or "the eldest" and not always due to age, but their way of behaving and thinking being perceived as wise or mature. They command and expect respect from everyone around them.
All Scorpio women are recognized for their piercing eyes, sharp eyebrows, and dark features. They rarely ever go unnoticed, although, the attention doesn't always translate to more suitors. I've noticed that Mars, Sun, and/or Saturn heavy women tend to have the hardest time in romance due to their powerful aura.
