She watched with amusement as Frank tried to summarize, smiling fondly. She was easily distracted, but now that he had her attention, she was invested. “I suppose that would depend on where you’re wanting to move them to,” she noted mildly, looking at the boxes in question, “and also why.”

Alice stood in wide-eyed disbelief as they went on and on, getting the strong sense that they were lying about not being an expert. “You certainly know a lot about it,” she responded after a beat, unsure of what else there was to say. “Can you imagine how much nicer it would be to travel is we were one giant continent?” She paused, considering it. “Though, I suppose if we were one giant super continent, we would have less varying weather patterns across different areas. That wouldn’t be quite as fun. I’ve always wanted to tan on a beach where it isn’t gray and drizzling.”

Alice’s eyes widened at Gideon’s words. “You don’t think its useful?” She scoffed lightly, closing her eyes with deep breath, focusing her energy on the feeling of separation. When she opened her eyes again, a perfect image of herself stood by her side. “Are you gonna kill her, or am I?”
