“Well, I had to learn how to” Gabriel said with a shrug. First to pass as human, then for the fun of it and lastly out of necessity when his wings were taken from him. “I think you’ll like it, it’s less tiring than flying” He smiled, making his way to the elevator, clicking the button that would take them to the garage, standing in front of Raphael after doing so, one of his hands casually resting on his hip, standing close.
“There are a few things I think you might like about Earth, you really should come visit me more” Gabriel said. He could’ve just said visit but he wanted to make sure Raphael knew that Gabriel wanted him around, that all those things he might like about Earth, Gabriel wanted to show him, that he wanted to be with him. If Gabriel could have his way, he would’ve stolen Raphael from Heaven a long time ago, keep him to himself hidden somewhere beautiful but he knew better than to try, knew better than to ask Raphael to run away with him. The answer would hurt, even when he knew what it would be. So they never brought it up. “I like seeing you.”
"I don't know why I forget how large Earth actually is." He chuckled, a faint shade of pink on their cheeks as they walked next to Gabriel. It wasn't new for Raphael to acknowledge how delightful it was for them to see Gabriel excel in anything he did.
The healer bit their lower lip, a tiny voice on the back of their head was telling them to hug him, to squeeze him tight and kiss Gabriel's face but it was a spark of desire and longing that he'd learned to quiet very early in their life so it was hard for them to actually listen to it.
"I like seeing you too!" They replied with a bit more excitement than they thought, smiling after at the warm feeling Gabriel made them feel. It was fun and nice, it was always something new and exciting but also the calm moments in Lux where they would simply sit down and acompany each other were fantastic.
"I'll try to make more space for me to come here. There are so many things I don't want to miss before they disappear. Like balls, I didn't come here when I had the chance and now I missed them." There was an honest sigh of disappointment that came from Raphael's lips before turning to the other archangel, looking up at them. "Which one is your car?"
