Meanwhile, somewhere in the Zone…
No. 34. How did Kira foil another zombie attack? Very simply. Everyone knows that the zombie don't really understand maps. They move from the Dump to the Cordon, guided by road signs. Kira simply turned one sign in the opposite direction. She called the trap a "zombie carousel." Now Kira watches as the hapless mutants run back and forth between the signs, unable to understand why the Cordon isn't getting any closer.
№33. An experienced stalker is teaching a rookie:
- Remember, the main rule in the Zone: if you see an anomaly - bolt it.
- And if I have no bolts?
- Then... then bolt from the Zone while you're still alive!
"Free stalkers, veterans, and hunters! Hmm... have you heard that Sidorovich's goat, which he recently acquired, was stolen? By the way, fresh milk can indeed have a direct anti-radiation effect, unlike the advertised vodka. So, whoever finds the goat will receive 1000 likes from Sidorovich."
Shkreken turned off the radio and began hastily searching the area for traces of the theft, but Kliken turned on the radio interception, in case any of you report useful information. Write in your PDA who you think it was:
a bandit
a stalker
a mutant
Two stalkers meet near the "Carousel" anomaly. The first one says: "Hey, do you know how to determine where north is in the Zone?" The second one replies: "Of course! You throw a bolt into the anomaly, and whichever direction it repels it - that's north!" The first stalker: "But bolts fly in different directions!" The second: "That's why we don't have accurate maps!"
No. 29. The journey of several kilometers begins with a single step but ends with a cold shower. Nothing refreshes the head and thoughts like ice-cold water from a barrel. Stress resistance + 5 points.
No. 28. Shkreken discovered a way to improve his characteristics without investing in expensive equipment. Every morning, when most residents of the Rookie Village were still dreaming about rich loot, he went out for a run. Lap after lap, Shkreken clocked up kilometers around the settlement, strengthening his Endurance.
But physical development is only half the success. To train Memory and Wisdom, Shkreken immersed himself in learning English, memorizing motivational aphorisms. 'The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones,' he muttered, overcoming another uphill.
At first, his morning rituals only evoked surprised looks and mocking smiles from the stalkers. But over time, seeing the rookie's persistence, they began to treat him with growing respect.
Kira shared with Shkreken a photograph of a mutant she once found in a box at the checkpoint.
It's called Cheshire. If Chimera can be compared to the lion of the Zone, then Cheshire is its leopard. The tufts on its ears hint at its lynx past. Its coloration has turned into living camouflage, changing faster than a teenager's mood. There's a dark joke in the Zone: 'Why is Cheshire always alone? Because even its own shadow is afraid to walk beside it.'
And the previous post brought 47 likes, minus 8 (a loaf of bread with canned meat for sustenance), which means there are now (76+39) whole 115 likes in the account. Thank you very much, readers!)
Дорогі читачі, ви просто супер!) Завдяки вам Шкрекен і Клікен врятовані від голоду. Попередній пост приніс новоспеченим фотомисливцям аж 94
Dear readers, you're simply awesome!) Thanks to you, Shkreken and Clicken were saved from starvation. The previous post brought the newly-minted photo hunters a whopping 96 likes! They finally ate their fill and even treated their friends, who used to feed them, to some bread loaves).
Here's how the accounting turned out:
earned 96 likes,
spent 18 (three loaves of bread - 6 likes, a can of canned meat - 6 likes, and a pack of bullets - 6 likes),
76 likes left.
Artifact hunting has never brought them such profit before)) By the way, the greedy Sidorovich only counted one comment from each reader(.
They decided to collect likes to buy out the rented single-barrel shotgun from Sidorovich).
Sidorovich gave Shreken and Clicken an old camera: "Since you can't find artifacts, take pictures of the Zone's beauty for the blog. I'll give you goods for the likes and comments you earn!" The young stalkers were initially excited about the task, but only until they saw the price list: a loaf of bread - 2 likes, canned meat - 6 likes, shotgun shells (20 pcs) - 6 likes, single-shot shotgun - 450 likes… "We won't even earn enough for canned meat!" Clicken gasped. But they have no choice, so the friends set off on a photo hunt. Surviving in the Zone isn't easy: they need to get at least 8 of your precious likes (for a loaf of bread and canned meat). Their only hope is you)). And so, one comment equals 5 likes).

The golden sphere will grant your wish. Set out on a quest to find it. Or simply leave a like here - perhaps it'll come true anyway.
A terrible accident happened at a nuclear power plant. The people, animals and plants that were there turned into terrible mutants. Dangerous anomalies and valuable artifacts appeared in the affected area. The people who went in search of the artifacts were called stalkers, and these stories are just a few of them.
Shreken was looking for happiness in the Zone. He wandered for a long time through the dangerous Swamps and the Junkyard, narrowly avoiding death, but only on Jupiter did he suddenly become happy. Happiness enveloped him completely, but it did not last long. Strong blows to his face suddenly brought him back to earth. "Wake up, Shreken!" he heard Clicken's voice pawing at him. - "You're being zombified by the Controller! I told you, you idiot, not to wander around without psi protection!" Since then, Shreken has often wondered if his thoughts and feelings really belong to him, and not imposed from the outside.
A skeleton roaming the Swamps will give you access to its caches of artifacts. All he needs in exchange is someone's body: he will ask you for the name of a person who, in your opinion, does not deserve to live. But there is a condition that the trickster will not warn you about: if the victim's soul is lighter than yours, the skeleton will take your body.
Advertising. For true stalkers only. On the left is the Executor suit: ideal for interrogating controllers and expelling burers. On the right is the Batiscape exoskeleton: indispensable for unplanned dives in the Swamps and flights over anomalies.
The mystery of the foggy anomaly has been solved! The unexpected researchers turned out to be bandits who decided to set up an ambush in it. The anomaly instantly consumed their weapons and clothing, as it feeds on high-density matter. The sight of the bandits when they jumped out of the anomaly in front of the stalkers was truly frightening.
