Ok, so because God loved us, He died on the cross for our sins so that  But, why do we need to be free of sins? Is it just for our own self-benefit? To make things right with God? For our own relief from guilt? No. 

“We are not saved so that we are free to go out and do that which is wrong.  We are saved so that we might bring glory to God and demonstrate the work of regeneration in us as we turned from our sinful ways.” Ultimately, its to continue to have the desire to bring glory to God and not use the grace of God to sin.
