Custom Sort plugin for Views. Part 1

I've been working with views plugins for some time, and I wanted to create a custom sort for Views.

For the start, I tried to replicate the default view sort option, "Sort by Random".

The folder structure would look like this

Pagination Issue in default drupal blog pages

I had an issue with a drupal site where the default blog pagination in drupal would show wrong pagination counters, even if I had only one blog post it would show me 3 to 4 pagination counters and links.

The culprit was a custom view that had mini pagination enabled and it conflicted with the default blog listings.

Inorder to solve it, I went into the view mini pager settings and changed  pager id from 0 to 2.

Once you make the changes, pagination in the  changed view would call a different path for pagination

from  ?page=1 to ?page=0,0,1. Depending on the number you have given the length of the link increases.
