[[ Info: I can play with anyone except minors [minors do not interact or follow]. Follows from @tepperz-rp (which is also a hub/OC blog). Run by @tepperz, he/him. Other blogs are @nezha-taizi @bigbluekittypapaa. Art blog is @tepperzart.

Warning: While I'm not exclusive to one genre, one of my favorite genres is psychological horror. That means is blog will contain dark and challenging themes. Posts that may contain gore or explicit horror will be tagged.

mun is run by Tepperz who is 18+ and has dyslexia and anxiety. Sometimes i'll answer asks about me or my muses with art. I can match any roleplay style but there might be typos and occasionally misunderstandings. sometimes im slow to reply so bare with me its not personal. srry if im awkward as fuck. feel free to message me.

Personal Blogs can interact, like, send asks, reblog my posts and my art. However, I roleplay with people who are uncomfortable with personal blogs so do not reblog my roleplay threads without doing your research on my roleplay partner's comfort level. If they are cool with it then its fine, otherwise do not do it.

I wont rp pet death or lost pet scenarios and i have a phobia of realistic insects. blood, gore ok as long as its not the sole focus.

Oc/duplicate friendly: The way roleplay is that my default muses have the collective knowledge and feelings from all aus at once, and specific tagged aus will be distinctively in that universe.

Shiping info: the monkeys are open to new relationships but we have to start from the beginning of the new relationship and I want to be able to test the chemistry in roleplay before clear coupling. Things may happen naturally and that's fine. I'm cool with bdsm within safe measures for my muses. The sexuality of my monkies are this: Wukong is a-romantic and pan-grey-sexual-leaning-towards-guys (basically not on his mind but will go with the mood unless it gets overstimulating), MK is pan-demi-sexual heavily leaning towards men and a-romantic, Macaque is pan-sexual romantic. My personal fav ship is Wukong and MK (peachynoodles), but my two aren't explicitly together. If explicit sexual encounters happen they will be always tagged appropriately as nsfw, and often under a read more.

if i godmod or intrude, sometimes i get carried away, so let me know so i can edit or delete the post. I'm just doin my best in this weird new space.

Disclaimer** I would like it noted that I did not grow up with the original canon of the Journey to the West story, and even though I have done research/reading, my disabilities can prevent me from retaining details. Primarily I'm going to be going off LMK and some retained lore. So I might get JTTW or even lego monky kid lore wrong, occasionally, from small things to even names. I promise this is not intentional thing or done out of disrespect. If it's something that bothers you, feel free to (nicely, I hope) correct potential mistakes in a DM or something, If this is a deal breaker for you I get it, you can just move on.

About the muses: [their blog identifyer will be before the name]

["Wook"] Wukong is also known as The Monkey King -- a powerful entity that is known throughout the lands for causing mischief and destruction. He'd tell you he's done with all that, as he has reached enlightenment after his journey to the west. Wukong has many powers such as the power of 72 transformations, cloning himself, super strength, and more. He also has a magic cloud that can carry him through the sky, and used to have a special growing staff that he has since passed on to his disciple. Wukong's personality is that of a charismatic patriarch figure. There's no specific canon time period for this Wukong yet established, but he's probably around the beginning of season 4.

[[ AUs: Heartmending!Wukong [tag] is a Monkey King who is affiliated with @6em4k 's Macaque. They are currently trying to navigate a relationship together (shadowpeach).

EyesofBlue!Wukong [tag] There is an uninvited intruder on Flower Fruit Mountain, and Wukong intends to get to the bottom of it. The rogue demon turns out to be @worldclassmenageriie 's Chunhua, and her and the Monkey King make a provisionary truce.

["M'Kay"] MK is the disciple of Sun Wukong. His personality is curious, haughty, and caring. Despite being naturally a positive person, MK has trouble wrestling with his survivor's guilt and past traumas, which can lead him to lashing out and becoming withdrawn. I play him as having depression, anxiety, and adhd. His age is around 27 and his canon takes place somewhere around season 4. He has all of the same powers of Wukong as well as his staff, and is quite skilled, although he can be clumsy at times. MK is not yet comfortable with being a monkey or what that means for him, and this stress of that can make his body unstable. MK has other hobbies, such as drawing with crayons and fanboying to various things (including over Wukong).

[[ AUs: Sapphire!MK [Tag] is an au that may be asked for: this is an au for an MK who is attached to @cosmicxblossoms RH!Wukong, and currently has trauma with @swk4k s Wukong. "Running away from his home in pain and misery, MK gets lost and finds solace and kinship with an unlikely ally -- a broken Wukong in another world."

Jade!MK [tag] An AU where MK is stuck in trauma mode after a traumatic encounter with @swk4k s Wukong. "After bottling up his emotions and unsuccessfully reaching out to those he cares for, this MK has become deeply resentful of himself and his powers, leading him to embrace his primate form permanently."

Lapis!MK [tag] is an MK who is affiliated with @giibbonbeng 's Tongbi and her canon.

Emerald!Mk [tag] Affiliated with @radiantxfruits 's Wukong and Macaque. An AU where MK woke up knowing he was a stone monkey, while Monkey King is still sealed in the mountain without having had the journey. Without family, friends, or mentors, MK still finds the staff and saves the world. Grew up on FFM as part of the troupe and heard stories about Monkey King, and always felt like he was following in his footsteps, and so named himself monkey kid as a title. Generally, Emerald!MK is mad at the world and is constantly getting stronger. He has complete control over his powers, but they are constantly growing to a frightening degree. One day, it is Emerald!MK that breaks Sun Wukong from his prison under the mountain single-handedly -- to finally meet his predecessor at last.

Pearlescent!MK [tag] A bodhisattva MK from the distant future. He's worldly, kind, and very powerful -- but secretive about the experiences he's been though. (He's so changed that he's almost an oc at this point lol) ]]

["Mac"] Macaque, also known as the 6-eared-macaque, is another powerful monkey from the Journey to the West story. Macaque has the power of illusions, can control shadows, and make portals to wherever he likes. Macaques personality is that of a stoic chaotic-neutral antagonist. He has a jaded and complicated relationship with Wukong, and wears that baggage wherever he goes. It's hard for him to trust others or settle down, and he often makes a bad impression on those he meets. He likes theater but isn't a very good artist. Macaque has a scar on the right side of his face and three sets of colorful ears, and he glamors both of these things away most of the time. He cannot see out of his right eye, but makes up for it by using his other senses well. His canon is unclear, anywhere from season 2-3. ]]

She was worried until she remembered----six ears. She had vaguely touched up on how well Macaque was rumored to hear.....why not just yell??? "Friend of maca--sixer." Saying his nickname still felt weird. "I had a weird encounter today and I'm worried somethings happened to him. Another friend is checking it out....but if there /is/ something wrong and we need more help, could you?"

Funny how the catastrophe of the Avatar movie leaking is the gateway to bringing Lego Monkie Kid back with its original studio:

It's a shame how we're at the point of hoping one project fails so we can enjoy another. It shouldn't be like this.

But, at the end of the day, I'd take LMK over anything else. In a heartbeat. Avatar had its time to shine. It's story was told. Give the spotlight to something else already.

Event Unlocked

Xiaoqing sighs as she returns home, stepping out of her sandals and into a pair of comfortable slippers. She grabs a spare clip, a large one, from a nearby surface and pins her long hair up and out of her way as she walks through the building, through to the shack in the back of the lot.

The interior is cold and metal, deceptively different from her modest looking home, and she steps into the elevator inside of it. She is calm and heaves another breath as the machine comes to a close at the bottom floor, opening up to the project she had been so intent on working on.

The floor sprawls out in a wide circle made of glyphs, glyphs made of nodes, nodes brimming with an ominous blue glow that crackled with power. In the center three swirling orbs chase each other. Along the floor are two long conduits, leading to two separate power sources.

One of them, the Six-Eared Macaque, is bound by old webbing reinforced by wire and code. His mouth is bound shut, and IV wires sink beneath the manufactured, but provably strong, restraint.

The other, an icy shard, frosting the surface of a clear container, attached to another machine.

Xiaoqing steps around the circle, clearing the conduit wires with ease as she steps in front of the computer in the middle of the room. Her long nails clack aggressively against the keys, despite her cool exterior.

“Hm. Still needs longer.” She murmurs, then turns to Macaque.

“You don’t have as strong a connection to the Bone Demon as you were supposed to - did you do something to shake her deal off?”

Before Macaque can answer, she brushes him off.

“It doesn’t matter -  what’s there is enough to do what I want. In fifteen hundred years of waiting for the opportunity to see my sister again,”

She turns a knob. The webs tighten. Macaque chokes and gasps through his gag, wrenching one way and the next.

The bone demons shard lights up, power arcing outwards to lash against the glass. None of it phases her.

“I’ve learned I’m a very patient woman.”

this was so borrring.... "That's all I got, lady." zap -- new new nose.

"Do it again! Do it again! And be purposeful with your work!"

Macaque laid down on the floor and yawned. Zap. new new new nose. she shook her head and he zapped again. new new new new nose. zap. more yapping complaints. zap zap zap.

"and look how thin she is! I could wave a hand right through her even if she /weren't/ a shadow!"

this lady was scary....

Each zap was another failure to her expectations. Not a single one of her corrections seemed to strike home, each adjustment too far one direction or the other.

"And what about her eyes? What kind of forehead is that? And her hair is entirely the wrong texture--"

At this rate, it was like this Macaque was trying to out-disappoint the one she knew.

"Ugh, never mind all of this."

"You're just going to exhaust yourself over achieving nothing. If I want something done right, I'll just do it myself at home with my own brushes. You're dismissed."

She said the last part with a wave of her hand as she turned on him, walking off towards home to do just that - at least she had one good portrait of her sister there.

The smile that had bloomed by the accepted apology faded at his second comment, groaning and flopping flat on her back, rubbing her face. Tail flicking like an irritated cat. "I never said that! I never claimed you were, said you were or told anyone else thats what I thought!" She groused, voice slightly muffled by the hands over her face.

"I dont even know where you got that I think that"

The hands shifted, palms remaining over blue eyes. "My brothers were adults already on your journey so alot of the stuff that happened? Every bloody fight that had Yaoguai talking all over China? I wasnt even a century old when I heard about it. The Monkey King was a bloody enigma my whole troop couldnt fathom. A monkey, like us, who fought heaven and was then making his name known across the entirety of China for better or worse." Her voice was more exasperated than anything.

"I dont have powers---compared to other yaoguai Im not even particularly strong.....so yeah the stories and the reputation scared me. I won't lie and say they didnt. That doesnt mean I think or thought youre a monster. It means I knew if you decided to kill me, that I was a threat? I would have no chance of fighting back. Im immune to old age....not violence. All I had to go on was reputation and rumors......"

She rested her hands down, looking up at the leaves overhead. "I truly try talking to you, being open, and youre pushing things on me again, that I never said...." Her tone wasnt angry or accusatory......but tired. "Just like how you claimed I hated you....now you say that like I'm the one who thinks youre a monster?"

"Is being scared for myself, in the face of someone so much stronger than me, so unreasonable??" She pushed herself back up, supporting her weight with her hands behind her. For the first time making direct eye contact with him--though the lashing tail gave away how uncomfortable it was.

"Can you look me in the eyes, and say it unreasonable for me to have been scared? That it means /I/ thought youre a monster? Or is it something youre afraid I think?"

He looked her back into her eyes and sighed. "Just because you don't think something doesn't mean you don't feel it. Just because you don't say something doesn't mean you don't convey it. What is a monster, anyway -- besides someone who might kill you on a dime? What do you think I think a monster is? And for that matter, what do you think is the thing I value most in my life? If you don't know the answer to those things..." He stood up, and then gave a smile. "Then that's okay. You might just need to think on it a little bit more. Go a little deeper." He stretched an looked down at the cubs playing. "After all, I said we had to address it sometime. It doesn't have to be today." He hopped on a cloud that came from nowhere. "Gotta blast!" He said, and took off.

The chatty Green Snake was robbed of whatever may have remained of her speech.

"...."

She stared down the barrel of her tunneling vision, into the lithe frame forming before her, a silhouette as familiar as it was long gone.

"This is wrong." She said softly, her hand reaching out towards the smoke.

It clenched. A finger pointed outwards.

"She never wore her hair down." She repeated herself, stepping closer to the silhouette. Her head tilted to get a better view. "And she'd never wear suck tacky clothes either. Especially not ones without sleeves, she kept herself covered, she got cold easy."

"If you're going to conjure her image, do it right. I won't tolerate laziness."

She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose with her fingers as she prepared herself to retell the stories.

"Two things."

"The first was when my sister was trapped under the Leifeng Pagoda. We had bonded over our similar positions - loved ones trapped by Heaven and the both of us helpless to do anything about it. I was burdened with my sisters son, and he with his sworn brothers troop. We seemed alike. Getting along was easy. When my sisters son, my son by proxy, was grown enough to help me break my sister free, I asked for Macaque's help. And he agreed."

"But, when the day came, he was nowhere to be seen - I learned later he'd gone off to fight with Sun Wukong instead, to torment him for his murder, instead of keeping his word. And so, I missed my last chance to see my sister before she ascended to Goddesshood."

"The other thing he did - my sister had few possessions of worth or note. She was a Daoist, like myself, and kept to a simple life with few luxuries. He'd apparantly stolen one of the few luxuries her husband had bought her 'not knowing who she was', he said- a gem-ladden earring, which he dangled in front of me in the middle of an argument we were having. We scuffed over it. I grabbed the ear he wore it from, he braced my hand, keeping me from letting go or pulling harder than he'd allow. He said if I wanted it so bad, I could have it, and he pulled on my arm, ripping the jewlery from his own ear."

"I was in such a state of shock, I let go. And he was so shocked at his own pain, he let go of my hand. We both dropped it. It clattered to the floor and down into a drainage pipe."

"I waded through the sewers for days looking for it. I must have been disgusting to anyone who looked at me, but I didn't care. Meanwhile, he'd slinked off into the shadows and never dared to face me again."

Her eyesd widen at the sight of him, body tense as the cudgel primes itself before her crafted nose.

A beat of silence follows. She looks at the weapon with her eyes crossed to focus on the tip. Coyly, she tilts her torso to the side, locking eyes with Mac, even from her skewed angle.

"Release whom?"

Well -- maybe she didn't, but mac was well beyond questioning the multiple-universe theory by now.

"Release me!" Mac said, then shook his head and lowered his weapon, giving a small annoyed growl at himself. "I mean, him!" Craning it back up towards green snake. "Sixer! Your Macaque!"

Mac's friend was gone and replaced by -- by some witch! What had she done with him!? "I'm giving you one warning," Mac was dead serious. The idea that someone had simply taken Sixer's phone was only a small nuisance of an idea, shadowed by the paranoia that something could and surely did happen to his best friend. "Bring him back."

"....My Macaque." She said slowly, ingesting the words being thrown her way. Ah, so not a particularly clever clone, then. A whole independent person, a separate Six-Eared Macaque entirely.

How irksome. Two of him. With this one being a paranoid case.

"Well, regarding Sixer - is that a name he gave himself? It sounds like something he'd pick - what makes you so sure I'd know where he is? I've spent most of my time trying to forget he ever existed, after what he did."

A slight shrug, watching a game of chase between two of the teenagers turn into a small, rowdy scuffle when one pulled on anothers tail a bit too hard.

"Basket of some fruit from town.....stuff that doesnt grow here. The little ones probably absconded with it, basket and all." A roll of her eyes and slight smile down at the members of the troop amongst the jujubes.

"It was...way of saying I'm sorry. I was out of line. It...wasn't really to do with you, all I said. You didn't do anything wrong. The probation, how we actually met, any of it . " She tucked her arms in close to her belly, ears pinned back and tail curled over her lap.

"Some of the stuff you said hurt...I said hurtful stuff too. A lot of it was..... I miss my family...miss my mountain...my forest." A deep sigh accompanied the words that seemed to come from her very soul. "I miss being mortal.....and took my feelings out on you....and I'm really sorry."
