I’m trying my hand at writing human Vox | Vincent and I will be exploring his extreme desires. Ambitious killing to satiating his sexual desires. While living I see him as a closeted gay man in a time and position where that would bring a lot of shame. Bc I’m queer myself I’ll heavily water down the homophobia but it’ll be implied in the narrative every once in a while. It is wrong and horrible and that along with his kills is why he’s hellbound. I’m gonna do my best to play a manipulative, confident, egocentric white guy with power…pls keep that in mind when interacting.

Vincent knew how committed they were. They were both planners, in their own rights, and they involved each other in what those plans were. They never forgot the reality they lived in, sure it was so they knew how to best break the rules when needed, but that didn't mean they still didn't have their issues.

Marriage was a big part of life. It was a goal many expected him to achieve. His ambitious career was a good enough of excuse but it was still very common to get questions. And it wasn't as if this hasn't been on his mind for some time now...the logistics of it just...weren't always clearly on their side.

So it was a huge relief to hear Alastor say yes. He carefully slid the ring on his finger and placed his on his finger. All he thought he'd get was a yes and a symbol...but an actual ceremony? He managed to stand with some struggle and held on to Alastor as he got up and pulled him into a kiss.

"I don't give a fuck about the law! Having a witness to our undying love...I want us to have it all, darling. Careers, luxury, happiness! Being your husband...it'd make me the happiest man ever."

Alastor felt his heart flutter when the ring was placed on his finger and he took Vincent's hand and the other ring to slide on his finger as well. They were beyond beautiful. Alastor would have to make sure to keep it safe when he wasn't wearing it.

He helped Vincent stand and gladly returned the kiss. "You are my happiness, Vincent. Everything else comes second to you." Alastor said affectionately as he reached up to caress his now fiance's face. "In creole and hatian culture marriage is celebrated between everyone and, I'm sure our friends at the underground bar would love to attend." Alastor said fondly. They never had to hide at the Jazz bar Alastor had frequented for years and had been bringing Vincent to, a place that welcomes everyone, all colors, gays, transvestites and anyone who were excluded from their current society. They wouldn't have to hide there, they would be able to have a ceremony and celebrate the night away with people who accepted them.

"Before you...I thought the only reason I'd ever get married was for the publicity. Help with ratings. Thankfully, I was charming enough on my own to not need a wife prop. There were parts of my life I would have to hide even in what would be my home, but you...you're a dream come true! Together we've made so many places feel safe. You...are my home." He leaned into Alastor's hand and smiles lovingly.

Vincent leans in and kisses him again, "I also have chains made. We'll be happily married but...I'm well aware of the times we live in."

He brightens up at the notion of having a full wedding. With guests and witnesses, and even a band! "We'll buy a round for the whole club next time we go and extend an invitation...there's no limit to how happy you make me. I love you..."

He wasn't sure how strongly it would be enforced, but he has had his lawyers write up wills and powers of attorney making Alastor the benefactor of it all. Giving him all the spouse privileges the other legal way he could. There were more hoops this way, but for Al...he'd jump as many needed.

He carried them with him in his inner pocket of his jacket. Lately he may have been a bit more protective of his jacket, dumb excuses of having to remember how to keep himself and his things clean and tidy. But in his latest murder, he got a bit hurt. Got out of there and went to safety...to Al. When Al folded his jacket they fell and he was...caught.

"The law won't recognize us...but they're nonethewisers anyway, when it comes to us and what we do. I've never been so smitten...and I know this isn't conventional...none of what we do or are is...you're my one. And just because it's not...usual, doesn't mean I don't want it."

He got up, ignoring the ache of the pain as he knelt before Alastor and reached for his hands,

"Will you marry me?"

Alastor had not expected Vincent to show up tonight, especially not to his apartment. He always let his partner know whether he'd be here or the cabin just for emergencies like this. Pulling Vincent inside he grabbed his medical kit and got to work leaning up and stitching the stab wound his partner had gotten from his latest victim. Scolding him to be careful and that he should've been prepared that the person could've been concealing a weapon.

After Vincent was taken care of he picked up the bloodied shirt and jacket that had been removed to fold up so he could wash them in the morning. That was when the rings dropped out of the pocket. "What's this...?" He asked and looked to Vincent with wide eyes as he spoke and came over to kneel before him.

The creole man blinked down at him like a deer caught in the headlights of the car. His left hand being taken while Vincent held out the most beautiful rings he likely had custom made. After a long silence Alastor's hand squeezed at his partner's and he smiled. "I know a voodoo priest who can marry us, so it might not be legal but we can be spiritually bonded. Yes, of course I want to marry you Vincent."

This was another step forward. Building an empire in his control so he could give them the best life together that they deserve. To be so powerful and influential, that no matter what obstacles try them, they’ll be small ant hills they can easily stomp over.

Halo updates! They’re looking kinda awesome :3

I’ve been printing components in batches. Seven to be exact. These are just the ones made from black filament. One for me, one for my friend, and another for a moot. In still figuring it the better fit for the connecting rods (the center one is a lil loose so the halo is sliding. )

So I might have some extra in case any more of my moots want me to send them one

//Anon hate is one of the most disheartening things to get, and also sad of those who send them. To be so miserable and unhappy in your life and hobby, to go out of your way to try and put another person down is...sad. Pitiful. It reads as having jealousy that another can attract interactions while you struggle to do so. Putting someone down and dampening their fun isn't going to bring you fulfilling happiness.
