Back to posting #thearcanagame !! I already kinda posted about rosemary’s lore before, but I basically had this thought that what if she actually grew up in the streets w/ muriel and asra. She’s the sole survivor of her village and they found each other when asra and muriel saw her being trafficked in the sunken district. Of course they end up saving her, after that they became sort of a roughed up lil family. Orphans staying and sticking together, no matter what. Rosemary then gets adopted by the owner of the magic shop (who took interest in her when she saw potential in rosemary’s magical prowess) and the rest is history.

Rosemary protected them both back when they used to live in the streets, but now she has two big protectors who would do anything for her (oh how the turn tables YNHNHNHNj). I plan on expanding their childhood lore more, I HOPE I get to actually start on that short rosemary comic ive planned SINCE 2021 GOSH CAN YALLS BELIEVE THAT?! cus I definitely cant lol.

here it is! my submission for the space!!! (i'm so negative) showcase! honestly my motivation for this one was "i need to make something so cool looking that everyone who sees it immediately runs to download The Arcana and i single-handedly revive the fandom AND get the existing fandom into Sparkbird while i'm at it /silly

but really, if you're looking for a cool visual novel with lots of mystery, a gorgeous fantasy renaissance setting, and awesome canon queer characters, i would say it's worth a look (you can even choose the pronouns used for the player character!)

the coins and keys can get annoying while playing especially if you're trying to binge the routes, so i would say it's worth it to look into a modded APK (i use getmodsAPK, it's the least sketchy and updates fast) even if you don't have an android device, there's emulators like Bluestacks you can use on computers that run them just fine!

Also a version without the light on his hair, because it looks a little weird to me.

I noticed Muriel does this thing where he holds himself a lot. I need to re-read the tale where he's a kid, but I'm pretty sure he used to do the same back then. It's pretty sweet to me, like he's physically trying to hold himself together, and how he's always been this way.

I'd die and I'd kill for him. After replaying his route, I'd probably say it's my favorite one. He's a very interesting character, and the one i relate to the most.

I like how his development happens so subtly, and how the romance with him isn't immediate. I like how he's always viewing things through the lens of his trauma, no matter how much the MC reassures him. And I like how said trauma doesn't stop him from loving the MC, despite his fear. I like how his trauma affected so much of him, and how it is obvious even in different routes. I like how he gets more trauma throughout his route, while he's clearly trying to get better. How even the smallest things are a big deal to him. I could talk about him for hours and hours, easily.

Hello, dear anon! Thank you for submitting my first request 🌻 I worked with neurodivergent students, but my knowledge on the topic, especially autism, is still limited. So, please, if you have a better insight, feel free to share and correct me in the comments.

🪻They would love crocheting or knitting together. Maybe in front of the fireplace, with Inanna at their feet, simply enjoying each others company and silence. 🪻Muriel would do research about autism, secretly from the partner, to understand them better. If Julian or someone in town could be helpful, he would challenge his own limits and reluctance in order to learn. 🪻He would always carry his partner's comfort treats in the pouch (and would indulge his own sweet-tooth more). 🪻He would build a room only for his partner, where they can decompress peacefully, and wood toys for stimming. 🪻He would train Inanna and some chickens in order to be emotional support pets. 🪻I think in general Muriel's main love languages would be act of service and gift giving. Also, he would be very respectful of his partner's times and spaces. 🪻Do you know the meme "EXCUSE ME, they asked for no pickles"? Muriel would stand tall and threatening for his love.
