Nearly 2 months into us dating he went missing, we hadn’t even let anyone know we were seeing each other yet. That was almost two months ago, I’m almost 3 months along; I only found out after he disappeared.”

She’d managed to keep it under wraps, she wasn’t really showing yet and she hadn’t had much morning sickness–and when she did she passed off as a hangover even though she’d been sober since she found out about this. She had no idea how to go about telling their parents, she had no idea how to go about telling any of them. But it had felt easiest to blurt it out to Alec first.

“So somewhere out there is the father?” He asked her confused. That felt like a big thing. He disappeared. In times like this. It sounded too much of a coincidence And that was not something Alec believed in. Not after everything. So there he was, thinking his sisters partner might have fallen prey to the circle. And this was not good news.

“We will find him.” He promised her. He didn’t promise how or in what state, just that they would find him and he meant it. Alec reached for his twins hand. “So in roughly six months I can spoil my nephew or niece rotten? You know I will - and Magnus will prooobably be even worse at this than I am.”

Abbie managed a small smile as she reached up to whip her eye slightly, even if Alec seemed moody and maybe a little bit morbid to some-and granted he was some of the time-he’d always been like this with their family when they needed it. Insisting that they would get through things and that everything would turn out fine? It was something he always did well when they really needed it.

“I’m sure you’ll all be great Uncles and Aunts, but I don’t think there will be any avoiding them being just a little bit spoiled. Between the two of you, Izzy, Jace, Mom and Dad, Clary. And Mattie will be the best little uncle ever.” She still was worried about finding the babies father though, how would she answer questions if they asked about him later on if they didn’t? It wasn’t something she wanted to figure out, but finally being able to talk to him about this helped some.

He could relate to wanting to protect a loved one. It was an honorable way to come back and yet it broke his hear, knowing that his own parents would not necessarily do the same for them. At least not both of them. His opinion on them was changing slowly as they seemed to be changing lately. 

“Well then.” Alec said. “I am not sure what the Clave requested of you, so would you fill me in on your exact orders? Or mine might be opposing to them.” Well there was a good chance.

Even though a part of her was tempted to remove the fund holding back her power, she would not just as she didn't last time Valentine happened. The risk of him to her family would be gone but more risk would rise, if it became known who and what she really was.

I just don’t have a ton of time to do stuff with a baby to take care of, once I have more time hopefully I’ll be able to open my blog up again. Not being selective is stressing me out enough that I don’t reply to ANYONE even when I do have time though. One of my main reasons for doing this is because my Dad has given me permission to bring a dog into the house as a support animal due to the added stress I’ve had with taking care of a newborn. I sat down with him and explained how much having an animal of my own helps me and he told me that if I could get together the adoption fee myself I could but only then. like as much as i love icons and a good psd, sometimes its just tasking to do. and not everyone has great resources. so if you’re okay with having threads with no icons, please reblog this so that people know you’re okay with it. i feel like roleplayers today are too focused on the aesthetics and won’t follow people who use base icons or even none at all. it’s not about icons, but about the writing !!
