What's lukas role in the story(if u added him) and is kagami is in this au too? What are the cannon ships? sorry if im asking much i just love seeing ur art and au🪷

When it comes to Luka’s story, he has a small but important role, for now. I’m still making him Bri’s ex, but instead of the messy situation from canon, it was years ago when they were still figuring themselves out. It ended mutually, and they’ve stayed close ever since, invested in watching each other bloom into themselves. He still has his band, and Bri sometimes joins him privately to sing, rant, and catch up. For now his place is casual, but I definitely plan to involve him more later- because not all heroes wear capes (or masks). Some wear thrifted jackets covered in rock band pins.
As for ships, I haven’t thought much outside the currently canon ones just yet. I’ve been busy shaping the plot first, but I’ll touch on ships soon since I want to explain my choices in detail rather than cram them in here.
And Kagami- her role is something I’m still deciding. She has good moments in the show, but I have to be careful about who I include. That’s one of the big differences between Miraculous canon and my AU: focus and team size. I’m just one person organizing the story, redesigning characters, and scrapping the ones that don’t fit. Miraculous aims for ten seasons with dozens of characters; my AU will be more contained. I’m planning at most the equivalent of two seasons, since I already know point A and point Z, and I have a sense of how I want the development in between to go.
That said, it doesn’t mean I won’t redesign your favorites! Followers of Miracule AU are free to request character redesigns at any time. Redesigning is one of my favorite parts of art, even if those characters only end up as background players- or maybe get short stories if things go far enough.
I hope that explains it! I still deeply care for this AU, and now that my art block is gone, I’m beyond excited to come back to it.
In the meantime, I also want to announce that I’ll be rebranding and opening commissions soon, along with a few other things. Adult life is sucking me up right now, and I need funds for doctor visits, so the AU might still take a little while. BUT, BUT— I’ve actually been sitting on content that’s been ready to post for weeks, so I promise my absence hasn’t been from a lack of ideas!
