Bruce wasnât exactly the best at always checking in... and the Hulk had been quiet for some time now.. but he knew there was at least one of the former team he couldnât let slip through the cracks. After everything Tony had gone through and being a single parent now had to be rough even more so alone. So the alpha drove himself out to the cabin to go and check on the omega and Morgan. He adored them both. He knocked on the door, and waited. @musesofthetower
Bruce tightened his arms around Tony and kissed his head. âTones, listen to me.â The alpha made sure he could look the omega in the eyes. âI care about both of you so very much. Thatâs why Iâm here. Thatâs why I came to check in on you and Morgan. I know it must be rough without Pepper. She was so strong and stubborn. Stubborn enough to keep you in check when she had to be. But loving too. I just want to be able to help you smile again and take care of you till you can take care of yourself and Morgan too.â
Bruce purred softly and laid his head on Tonyâs. âNot gonna let anyone take anything from you, lest of all her.â He whispered softly, doing everything he could to ease the pretty omega in his arms.
Tony's eyes watered a little at Bruce's words, it meant so much to him that the alpha wanted to be here. Not just an alpha, this alpha. He leaned into the alpha wanting to kiss him but thinking twice about it being too sudden. He just swallowed chewing on his lip, "I dont want you to go... I know its selfish, you have a life of your own. But I dont want you to go, I haven't felt this much of a connection with someone in a while..."
Bruce purred softly, nuzzling Tonyâs hair. But he carefully stroked Tonyâs cheek. âYeah? You want me to stay, Tones? I um.. have a confession too. I donât really have much of a life lately, and I donât really want to go...â he said softly. âBut I didnât want to take advantage of you grieving.â
Tony's heart leapt as he buried himself in the alpha's neck. He hummed, "I really dont want you to go. I was grieving but this is the first time I've felt whole. I kept waiting it to fade the way it did when I was grieving for my parents but it isnt."

The alpha blinked and looked at the omega. âI um.. I donât really need a thank you. Seeing you happy and not about to fall over is thanks enough. Plus Iâm enjoying how rascally Morgan is.â He teased softly, offering Tony a soft look. âI have to admit...Iâm enjoying not being alone, but at the same time.. I canât really stay. I donât feel right intruding for too much longer..â
"You never intrude," Tony rushed maybe a little two quickly. He winced at his awkwardness, what on earth had happened to him he used to be suave now he was acting like a shy teenager. He distracted himself setting the table commenting, "I mean I dont want you to feel like you have to stay, but it's not an imposition. It's a delight."
He chuckled trying to play it off, "maybe I've been isolated too long. I'm really not good at this company thing anymore."
Bruce softly purred at Tonyâs admission to him. The alpha moving and carefully pulling the omega into a hug so he could have the other man close and maybe ease him. âHey, itâs okay not to be used to company anymore. You know I care for you right? Both of you?â
"Of course," Tony lied, he didnt really know how how he felt anymore let alone anyone else. Bruce had been the first since the funeral to come see him. Hapy was around but mostly he went to keep an eye on Peter and how he was adjusting.
"I just," Tony struggled a little with the words, "I want to see people be out an about again. It's what Pepper would have wanted... but at the same time I dont think I can handle the pittying looks and the 'how you holding up's. I guess I'm just scared you know. Especially with Morgan, I dont want them putting stuff in her head about... I dont know."
He let the thought drop. He was really scared for himself. If a social worker thought he couldn't cope without and alpha, they'd take her and it might just kill him. It wouldnt have been the first time someone said something to that effect.

Some peace sounds nice to me.â He said quietly. âI would like to be here for the both of you if youâd let me.â It was nice to see Tony smile at him instead of the other genius looking so frazzled. âI like that I can help somehow instead of just feeling useless.â
"You're never useless Bruce," Tony sighed, "I guess it's nice to know the world is better off after... we stopped Thanos." He sighed after a long moment, "do you think... do you think things will ever go back to normal?"
Bruce stroked Tonyâs hair softly, wanting to ease the other man once more. âI am fairly useless for other things, and thatâs okay. Iâll settle for just being able to help you relax and sleep.â He admitted before thinking about Tonyâs question, seriously. âItâs kind of like a big scale 9/11... we wonât forget and some things will change but eventually things will become more normal. Itâll just take some time.â
"I hope you're right," Tony mumbled the soft feeling of Bruce's fingers in his har sending shivers down his spine. It was so simple but one of the things he missed most. He hummed a little his mind shutting off just a little bit. Despite what Tony may tell himself he really was sleep deprived and the feeling was lulling him back to slumber as he murmered, "you're really the best Bruce... just womderful."
Bruce smiled softly at Tonyâs reaction to his fingers in his hair. What a soft sleepy omega, it warmed his heart be so comforting for the other genius. âI try, Tony, you get some more rest now. I got you.â The alpha purred deeply, knowing it calmed omegaâs and he used it to get the lovely omega in his arms to rest.
The soft purring instantly soothed Tony to sleep. It was an odd sensation having an alpha in the home again. Tony had never been one for settled life but after the snap, he'd been so relieved. Settling down seemed the only reasonable thing. Then it disappeared again.
He smiled a little watching as Morgan brought him another science experiment to try. Bruce was something else, a softness to him that kept at ease. Part of him sunk thinking about when Bruce would leave.
Bruce was enjoying been close to someone who appreciated him and he adored Morgan and her inquiring mind. It made him happy. Unfortunately this wasnât his home though, and eventually, despite not really having anything to do.. heâd have to leave, once he accomplished his self brought on mission.
"Hey trouble," Tony chuckled just before she started adding the vinager to the baking soda, "it's almost dinner, clean up and we can do this after we eat."
"Moooommm," she whined.
"Wash your hands," Tony chuckled shooing her out of her chair, "science after food..." She bounced off and Tony sighed, "I really appreciate everything Bruce... I dont really know how I can thank you."

Thor knew his rut was close so heâd slipped into their bed with just his underwear on. He purred and slid his fingers over Lokiâs body. âMine, omega.â He cooed leaning in and kissing at his mateâs neck, rocking their hips together.
Loki traced his fingers along his mate's jaw to pull him up to look him in the eyes. He smiled holding the alpha's face, "irrevocably."
He slipped his lips against Thor's coaxing him into a deep kiss. The last of the clothing separating them vanished leaving him bare to start bringing back against the alpha's thrusts.

He purred softly letting himself relax so his scent would grow. He hummed after a moment, "Duly noted."
Thor stroked his fingers through raven hair, purring softly as he scented at Lokiâs neck. It put him both at ease and shot longing through him.
Loki scented the spike in his scent and nuzzled closer. He hummed stroking his alpha's hair, "that came quickly, what do you need alpha?"
âIt is not really started yet, you just smell good.â Thor purred, pulling Loki as close as he could, looking pleased.
Loki purred settling into his arms to doze, "wake me up when you get needy."

Bruce looked at his watch. âYou slept almost three hours. Did you have something you needed to do?â He questioned, briefly looking surprised Tony had slept for the 2 hours and 45 minutes. Apparently the omega had been tired and soft affection and purring would help. That was good. Maybe they would be able to get the omega back to where he needed to be physically to make handling things easy.
"I'm sorry, I didnt mean to sleep so long," he mumbled sitting up a little, "hows Morgan? She didnt give you trouble did she?"
He was barely awake but his mind was focusing on guy reactions. He rubbed his eyes, "I need to make her lunch..."
Bruce snorted softly and carefully moved just enough to show Tony the sleeping girl snuggled against his other side. âYou needed the rest, if didnât bother me any to help you get some good sleep.â The alpha admitted, purring softly. âIt actually helped me too to have some contact with other people.â
Tony sighed relaxing seeing her asleep, "thank you. I ummm. I appreciate you staying, I haven't felt this calm in a while."
He liked the feeling of having an alpha around again. It put him at ease in a way he'd forgotten he needed. He sighed rubbing his face, maybe I need to get us out for a bit."
Bruce hummed and purred softly. âGood Iâm glad that both of you got some much needed rest. I can stay around for awhile if you like. Iâm not terribly useful lately to anyone in an avengers style.â He admitted softly. âHulkâs kinda gone under ground so to speak.â
"You know you're always welcome here Bruce," Tony smiled snuggling closer, "I think it would be nice to have someone around for a while. I know Morgan would like seeing you."
