Kurhaus Den Haag
Our museum Beelden aan Zee in Scheveningen is in a close proximity to this beautiful building of a Kurhaus hotel.
Did you know, that the Kurhaus Hotel was built in 1884 by the German architects Johann Friedrich Henkenhaf and Friedrich Ebert and went under reconstruction already in 1886 due to massive fire?
This Hotel had originally a concert hall and the last time it was used was in 1964 by Rolling Stones.
Les bijoux de Madame de Sade by Brazilian artist Tunga!
