Here’s another entry in the Othmer Library’s Word Challenge:
My word is staircase and I’ll admit, it’s had me a little stumped, especially as my colleagues’ fabulously-inspired posts have piled up! As the Curator of Photographs, I know staircases pop up in our photo collection, but that’s too easy. I mean, this is a word challenge. So, I got to thinking about other staircases around the Othmer Library, which brought me to that most essential tool of the trade, the step stool! As you can see, we have variety of personal “staircases” around the Othmer Library and, while I hate to play favorites, I’m particularly fond of the aptly-named “Little Giant” in the second photo. As any archivist will tell you, when you find the right box (and can reach it on the shelf), you feel like a giant indeed.
@othmeralia, it gives us great pleasure to introduce you to @museumladders.
This makes us so happy 😍
