Midday at the Butcher Shop - 2016
No modern conveniences here just a simple butcher’s shop that is apparently closed in the afternoons. Havana, Cuba.
Cover art by Ralph Steadman for the 1972 edition of HUMAN IDENTITY IN THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT.

Bowled Over
Celebrity Bowling comes from the 1970s, but I had to wait until reruns aired on ESPN Classic to find out what I missed out on all those years ago. As it turns out, the game show is a load of silly fun whose saving grace is the fact nobody who participated knew how to bowl (except Roy Rogers). This episode comes from the first season (circa 1971) with the featured celebrities being Ed Ames, Richard Deacon, Tom Kennedy, and McLean Stevenson. The proceedings are hosted by Jed Allan and pro bowler Dave Davis.
1968 Vinyl LP advert Tom Jones, from the album sleeve of ‘Help Yourself’. Near Mint copy and it came with a fold out poster 🕶
P.s. i have all the vinyls in the advert too 😁
"because I've nothing else here for you and just because it's easier than the truth oh if there's nothing else that I can do I'll fly for you because I've nothing else here for you and just because it's easier than the truth oh if there's nothing else that I can do I'll fly for you....."
