Not that I can think of. As long as you're good at trombone, baritone will be pretty easy to pick up. You just have to get used to the fingerings. I learned the fingerings in about two weeks. Then practice playing old music for trombone. In February, I joined a tuba quartet just to get used to playing. And now this year, I'm baritone section leader in the band.

Is trombone your main instrument? and if so, how did you or are you going to learn baritone/euphonium?

Trombone is my main instrument. I basically lined up fingerings with slide positions. So I still think in slide positions. Ex. I put down 1st finger: I think third position. It just took repetition of fingers.

First Crown, then Bluecoats, Crown, Cadets, then back to Crown. I think there's a reoccurring theme here.
