hey yall!!! i’m writing a paper on using preferred pronouns for a class and i wanted to share the first paragraph i wrote because i like it!!

I believe in using preferred pronouns. The reason I hold this belief so strongly, no joke, ties in directly with my take on the meaning of life. To be honest, we’re all just floating about on this space orb we call Earth, there isn’t much rhyme or reason to anything we do. But you know what’s the coolest thing we can do on this funky ball? We can make people happy! We can spread joy, legitimately the most rad superpower and any of us can do it! “But!” I hear you say as you read this (I have very good hearing), “I haven’t a dime to my name for spreading such joy”. To this I say fear not! Because a specific, wonderful group of people use something called “preferred pronouns”. I absolutely LOVE learning a person’s preferred pronouns, because in my eyes, it’s as if being offered a magic key, engraved with the words “hey! If you ever want to make me feel happy, use this!”. Dear friend, you have just given me a superpower, and I cannot wait to use it!

Another Call for Help

I don’t know what else to do.

Probably gonna get kicked out of my apartment.

I was able to pay my rent today - extremely late and apparently late enough they sent the court proceeding paperwork. I’m hoping to be able to find a way to pay the other monies owed (late fees and other fees i’ve accumulated) to the tune of $113 on that but my court date is 10/3 so I’m not holding my breath on that.

This case will not be dismissed. I’m going to miss work because of it. I’ve already missed a week of work thanks to a sore throat that made me lose my voice (hard to be on the phone if you can’t talk, yeah?) I won’t get paid again until 10/4, so it won’t be until after the hearing anyway - which I’ll owe shit for because reasonable attorneys fees etc.

I sent an email to the rental company asking for their help on this but I don’t think anything’s going to come of it. i’m way too late because the payment won’t be processed until monday, and they probably aren’t going to see my email until monday either. I did put dates in the email so hopefully that’ll be a thing. But they’re a rental company and what do they care that I can’t function in capitalism, or as an adult, without assistance I can’t get?

I’m asking for help again because I am at my wits end. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I’ve worked and begged and struggled and hoped and I cannot get anything working for me. If I could find a place to live that was cheaper, I’d do it. If I could live with my family I would - but if I moved back home 1) I’d be home and 2) I wouldn’t be able to keep my job where I’m at which I was LUCKY to be able to get back after everything.

I don’t know what to do. I feel like maybe I should have just stayed with my ex and dealt with everything and shouldn’t have said anything.

Anyway - if you can help me with anything I would greatly appreciate some financial assistance. I hate that I keep having to ask but I can’t seem to catch a break so I’m just going to make shit work I guess.

Looking for help.

So I've had to ask for monetary help before and luckily someone was able to help me. Now, I'm in a different boat. I'm currently caring for my 70-year-old grandmother who is suffering from dementia. However, I can no longer live with her at her care facility. This has left me 2 options. Move out and pay 700 dollars a month in rent or pay back my student loan balance of nearly 9000 dollars and live off those benefits. Neither is possible for me right now. I already owe nearly 850 dollars in rent. I am actively job-hunting as well as looking for a loan but neither is currently in my reach and I am nearly out of time. I am willing to take out a personal loan from anyone who can offer it. I currently have a PayPal at [email protected] and for those who do not have PayPal, I have a venmo and google pay at the same address.
