GUIDELINES.

001.   just be normal! usual etiquette applies. don't rush me, don't poke & prod, try to keep unhelpful godmodding to a minimum, etc. i don't really care for drama + callouts. if i think somebody is gross, i'll likely just block and move on. however, s ome things do call for awareness and those will be reblogged — very rare as i curate my space for my comfort, but these will always be tagged appropriately.

002.   interaction is welcome so long as we're mutuals ( i follow you, you follow me). inbox prompts are always open & unprompted starters / asks are totally fine! these are usually the best way to start interactions with me & you're always welcome to continue them into threads! replies to threads are usually slower than other forms of interaction but just be patient, they'll come!

003.   i'm a bit of a rambler and that carries into my replies which means they tend to get long ( 2-3 paragraphs minimum). with that being said: i never expect my partner to match length or format. write whatever you're happy with, i'll never take it as a slight. i use small + large text with some colored text. if you need anything at all changed for readability let me know!

004.   i   do   practice   mains/exclusives/affiliates.   mains   are   people   that'll   likely   get   priority   in   reply   speed,   exclusives   are   the   only   version   of   that   muse   i'll   interact   with,   and   affiliates (*indicating affiliates, ♡indicating ship exclusive )  are   muses   that   are   heavily   tied   into   my   portrayal   of  pizzazz and   if   said   muse   comes   up   in   a   separate   thread,   it   is   referring   to   that   specific   variant   of   them.  

005.  i am more or less ship exclusive; i likely won't ship with more than one portrayal of a character. i don't expect the same treatment in return! y'all do you, this is just what i'm most comfortable with.

006.    this   blog   will   deal   with   themes   already   present   in   the   show / comics!   anything   triggering   will   be   tagged   appropriately   using   the   format   'trigger   cw   /'. 

007. sporadic activity means sporadic activity; i have a full-time job + family obligations. sometimes i have muse and sometimes i don't. there may be days, weeks, months of inactivity but rest assured i will be back at some point. i'm a notorious hoarder i've replied to things that've been in an inbox for three years before life is just like that. if that's not your vibe you're welcome to softblock 👍

008. i don't mind duplicates!! i think they're fun and i'm just chilling. i believe that people can draw the same conclusions from reading the same content, but if i get a weird vibe like it's a little more than that going on, i'll just sb and move on.

009. like most media from it's time period, jem didn't age with the most grace — it should go without saying that i don't condone everything that took place on the show and that i aim to clean it up and root out these issues from my portrayal (misfits in hawaii 😒) in a way that still keeps the integrity of the character at it's core. that said: pizzazz is a piece of shit. she's morally bankrupt in most situations. #womenswrongs

GENERAL

FULL  NAME.  phyllis margaret gabor ALSO  KNOWN  AS.  pizzazz — this is what everyone calls her aside from her father, even people who know her real name. the use of 'phyllis' will receive instant tilt. AGE.  written in her late twenties - early forties, depending on the interaction.   GENDER.  cisfemale  PRONOUNS.  she/her  ORIENTATION.  bisexual OCCUPATION.  lead singer of the misfits, a well established rock band. they're not underground by any means, usually falling just short of top of the charts behind jem and the holograms. it can't be understated that the misfits are a widely known and popular music group even if they aren't number one —  if not for their raw musical talent, then for the drama and conflict that follows them through the tabloids and via their rivalry with jem and the holograms. think pat benatar, joan jett, heart, etc.

BACKGROUND

BIRTHPLACE.  los angeles, california, u.s.a CURRENT  HOME.  los angeles, california, u.s.a LANGUAGE(S).  english PARENTS.  harvey gabor, pizzazz's father, originally born into a working class family but became a business tycoon & billionaire by age 20, marrying gail nye, her mother, at age 24. gail runs off soon after pizzazz's birth, leaving it just her and harvey.

APPEARANCE

HAIR.  dyed neon green, natural hair color is black. very subtle curls, usually teased and given volume to high hell and back. EYES.  green  HEIGHT.  5'11"

so  in  the  end,  maybe  she's  less  than  grateful  for  miss  whatshername  / whatsherface  ;  hates  masks  anyhow.  everyone's  got  something  they're  hiding.  well  not  her.  she's  pizzazz  through-and-through.  and  one  thing  about  pizzazz?  she  never  takes  the  stairs.  she  scoffs,  refolding  her  arms  over  her  chest.  ❝  well?  get  me  down  from  here.  isn't  that  your  job?  ❞  lady  has  her  cradled  like  some  sort  of  princess.  she's  more  than  that  but  whatever.  impatiently,  irritated,  almost  as  though  she  truly  doesn't  think  she  owes  her  anything  at  all  (she totally  doesn't),  ❝  i'll  make  it  worth  your  while,  hero.  whaddya  want?  ❞
