Welcome to my page! Feel free to drop requests <3.
I reserve the right to not write if it doesnt spark joy but I take requests for fluff, angst, smut, or crack headcanons/drabbles/fics for basically any Fallout character.
(No, not just companions. Yes even that one obscure character with zero canon content. My autism knows no bounds.)
My preferences will probably be refined as time goes on but for now its open season.

An in depth quest for X6-88 is something I have thought over and written out and deleted and written out and deleted and just repeat that a hundred times and you're halfway there. But I think I have finally landed on something I like... but it's pretty different from what I have suggested for other characters.
When it comes to X6-88 his main problem is a complete lack of identity. What little personality he has is the institute's anti-above ground propaganda. I think this specific quest would only be triggered in a scenario where you side with a faction other than the institute, as the only option when siding with the institute is to keep the synths oppressed and treated like subhumans. And of course that would mean he would have to not turn on you which would be a major change as he will currently attack you or entirely disappear if you side against the institute.
This quest would also be less of a quest and more of a direct reflection of the Sole Survivor's dialogue and choices.
While traveling with X6-88, he (the game) would keep track of your dialogue choices (inquisitive or generous or sarcastic or standoffish or money hungry or patient, etc etc) and the locations you visit (raiders and gunner hide outs, happy or unhappy settlements, diamond city, goodneighbor, bunker hill, covenant, etc) and then form a personality for X6-88 based on this.
His personality would develop directly in correlation with what he learns while traveling with the Sole Survivor.
Becoming more patient and understanding and generous if you're helping people and chosing the 'kind' dialogue options and visiting happy settlements. Becoming more inquisitive if your Sole is always asking questions/for more information/traveling to non settled locations (libraries, military bases, schools, office buildings) often. Becoming sarcastic or standoffish if your Sole chooses those dialogue options and tends to get into fights with humans/synths, or you often visit places that are anti synth like covenant and diamond city.
Maybe you go to Goodneighbor often, somewhere he wasn't fond of, but you're helping Daisy and Kent and Whitechapel and have a high affinity with Hancock so he ends up coming around to Goodneighbor and therefore his personality becomes more accepting of ghouls, the average wastelander, and more laid back. Or the opposite affect, you visit Goodneighbor often but have no/a low relationship with Hancock and are rude/standoffish to the inhabitants so his distaste for Goodneighbor and wastelanders like them is solidified for him.
Leaving him for long periods of time at an unhappy settlement can cause him to become bitter and cements his hatred for life above ground, versus leaving him at a happy settlement can cause him to become enamored with life above ground and even form 'relationships' with settlers and have passive dialogue with them that reflects the personality he learned traveling with you (patient or sarcastic or inquisitive).
All of this can be nudged/influenced by occasional affinity dialogue with him. The higher his affinity for you the stronger your influence on him and his beliefs. However there are charisma checks that if you fail he will decide you are wrong and try to convince you otherwise.
Say you try to pass a charisma check convincing him the commonwealth is beyond saving. You fail the charisma check and he tells you no. He has witnessed the potential first hand traveling with you. Or the exact opposite. You try to convince him the commonwealth is worth the effort being put into saving it and he tells you no, thanks to your traveling he has seen the worst of the worst and believes the commonwealth beyond saving. Etc.
His ending personality type/combination could even affect what perk you get from him. Maybe not entirely different perks, but slight variations. His current perk is Shield Harmonics, which gives Sole 20 energy damage resistance.
Maybe if he has a patient/optimistic personality it could be a temporary boost of 75 energy damage resistance every time you do a good deed. if you are sided with the minutemen, maybe it's plus 5 all damage resistance for every settlement above 80 happiness. Or if he's sarcastic it could be a temporary boost of 10 energy damage resistance for every sarcastic dialogue option. Or if he is bitter/pessimistic it could be a plus 50 energy damage resistance when fighting humans.
And I would like to see him pick a name for himself, influenced by his final view of the institute, Sole, and the commonwealth. Either asking Sole for help (and you can pick from 4 predetermined options) to show trust to Sole, he chooses for himself something similar to X6-88 (like Xavier or Alexander or something) to show coming to terms with his identity, he chooses something far different/removed from X6-88 to show hes moved on from his past self, or even a chance he chooses to keep the name X6-88 as a way of taking that identity for his own/making himself his own person.
joshua graham, aside from FOUNDING THE LEGION with caesar, committed countless atrocities of his own accord. no one forced him to do them. he was burnt and thrown down a canyon because he lost a battle, not because of any guilt or regret. he didn't leave the legion, he was forced out. and what did he do after? he started quoting scripture and did all that again with the dead horses! this time with a little manifest destiny bullshit sprinkled in!!
ulysses, meanwhile, was a slave in the legion's slave army, forced to serve caesar after his entire tribe, culture, identity, and home were wiped out. he left the legion on his own when it was safe for him to do so. what wrongdoings has he done that he didn't do on pain of death, under caesar's name? what wrongdoings did he do that's on par with joshua graham's? what is his great sin, aside from asking the courier to confront the consequences of their actions??
Not that the broader strokes of your point about comparative guilt aren’t correct (they are) - and that you are aren’t correct about Joshua gram as a person (you are) or that you aren’t right about how Ulysses came to do what he did initially (you are)
But “what did Ulysses do aside from challenge the courier to confront their own actions?”
Attempted genocide via Nuclear Holocaust 2: Radioactive Boogaloo.
Would be the thing that comes to my mind. That’s uh. A damn bit more than you can justify as being “asking the courier to be accountable”.
And that? He 100% did of his own accord. Separate from the legion.
1. ulysses has the missiles aimed at dry wells and long 15, two military outposts for the legion and the ncr, respectively, not any majorly populated location
2. hitting one, or both, would not be unleashing a nuclear holocaust or causing genocide - it's to destroy strategic routes for either faction, making the war effort extra difficult for them
3. the choice to nuke one, or both, or none of these places is up to the courier
4. you can talk him down. with your words, by sympathizing with him, you can reason with him and have him realize what he's doing isn't the right way
5. ulysses is lashing out because of the trauma of his history - he was enslaved, his tribe was eradicated, and he was forced to perpetuate the legion's cycle of violence on pain of death. he is a desperate, suicidal man wanting to die, and wants to take down the forces that have hurt him down along with him for good measure
6. you can talk him down. you can de-escalate the situation. you can, and i cannot stress this enough, prevent the bombs from dropping just by showing a little understanding, a little kindness, a little grace
7. i am not defending what he attempted to do. it's bad. i acknowledge that. but it's not nuclear holocaust, it's not genocide, and it's not as horrible and terrible as what other fnv characters have actually done
@datura-tea this is such a good analysis. So many people just fundamentally misunderstand Ulysses and I can't tell if they're just confused, willfully ignorant, or actively malicious. He uses very deliberate language!! There's a reason he describes his plan as "cutting the throats" of the Legion and NCR. He's explicitly going for their throats!! In his own words!! He's not trying to murder everyone he's trying to destroy the trade networks and war machines of these vast nations. It's not good, but it's also absolutely the least villainous motivation of ANY antagonist in the game.
we can finally share our full pieces for @falloutghoulzine!! Beatrix is a bad influence and things go awry for Arcade. I had such a great time working on this!! ☢️☢️☢️
okay so for this next part of the 'in depth companion quests series' we are talking about Curie, who admittedly has a pretty sizable quest. Technically you could even say she has two! But I still wanna include her because I love her and I want to talk about this idea:
I read a fanfiction a while back where a sub-plot was Sole Survivor and Curie made a mirelurk pen, sourced some eggs and started the process of domesticating mirelurks for food. I also read another where Curie was attempting to make cheese with brahmin milk.
But this quest would be simple, Curie deciding she wants to improve the settlements/commonwealth. Maybe through traveling with you to enough locations or through finding an old cookbook upon traveling to certain locations that could have cookbooks like libraries or houses or cafeterias. Or it could be that she misses her pet molerats from the vault.
Then you unlock a multi-stage quest with lots of just... waiting. First you have to source a certain number of mirelurk eggs, then build a mirelurk pen.
Setting up brahmin pens and troughs. We already have the tubs so maybe if you already have brahmin this auto checks off and you can move on right to milking them.
Then some sort of half in ground pen where molerats can't get out but still have plenty of dirt to dig in. So that you can breed molerats to be eaten as well.
Provide her with razorgrain so she can make bread.
Then you can have a discussion where you test Curie's new project or a meal of it put together in a like 'pre-war sandwich' style. And you can either tell her you love it.
Maybe she even asks you if it tastes as good as a pre war sandwich and then you can either kindly tell her the truth, rudely tell her the truth, try to avoid the question by asking her thoughts, or have to pass a charisma check to lie and say it tastes even better.
All of these can be assigned settlers, and then molerat and mirelurk meat, mirelurk eggs, and brahmin cheese can show up in your workshops. Plus they add more food and happiness to settlements.
Maybe they can occasionally have mirelurks or molerats that escape enclosures so you have to hunt or recapture them kind of like having to defend settlements and less frequent/maybe only a small chance if you're already at the settlement or try to interact with the pen?
Hunting instead of recapture could temporarily raises the food but lowers happiness and production for the settlement until the numbers go back to they once were. Both hunting or recapture could get you passive dialogue from settlers. Expressing they would have done the same or the opposite. Or how it could have been handled better or thanking you for your help. Or even laughing at you for running around after a molerat/mirelurk hatchling.
this is like... part 5 (?) on in depth quests for companions and this time is we are talking about my girl Cait.
Yes, Cait has a quest... but have we considered another one? OR a secondary part of her Benign Intervention. Kind of like how MacCready's quest, this could be triggered by in game time traveling together spent after finishing the first part of the quest.
Addiction is a life long battle. Obviously 'just' quitting versus that fancy flushing vault machine BUT addiction also isn't just a physical ailment, it's a mental one as well. I think Cait should, after going through Benign Intervention, realize that flushing her system wasn't enough to erase the addiction from her mind.
She keeps reaching for psycho when you're about to join a fight, without even meaning to. Muscle memory. She keeps catching herself thinking 'man I wish i could really use a hit', especially when things get tough. She finds she has so much more time, caps, and mental space on her hands without being high so often... and now she needs something to fill that gap. To distract her and give her something to do. Anything other than getting into fights or getting piss drunk. Lest she become addicted to alcohol too.
So the second part of her mission: finding Cait a hobby.
This one could have a much more light hearted feel to it then her other quest. Your mission is to help her try new things that could become a hobby.
Like taking her to meet people who know how to do 'hobby' things like taking her to meet the Atom Cats so she can see if she wants to take up power armor upkeep. Take her to sanctuary to meet Sturges so she can try her hand at repair/handyman stuff. Take her to Becky Fallon so she can try her hand at learning to sew.
Or teaching her yourself! Something like cooking! Food or explosives, though Cait knowing how to make molotive cocktails sounds like a horrible idea for the commonwealth's raider and super mutant populations. Or weapon/armor modification?
Or maybe helping her brainstorm through a series of dialogue options and then it can be something like whittling or knife tricks or making sculptures from junk.
Once she finds her new hobby, or as she's trying them out, she can randomly offer up items like Hancock with chems or MacCready with ammo.
'Here are some screws left over from my last project' or 'Im trying a new recipe, what do you think?' or something like that.
And at the end it could be some epitome of her new hobby like a brand new Cait exclusive recipe or outfit, or a sculpture she made herself for you. (Maybe it could change based on your faction affilitation or if your relationship is romantic or platonic? Like if you are BOS maybe the meal makes you less susceptible to energy damage. Or if you're romantic it's a miniature sculpture of two molerats cuddling idk)
Im not gonna put it here cuz i don’t like putting artists on blast but theres an official piece of artwork of Cait that really frustrated me cuz it felt like goonerbait so i took it upon myself to make my own version that fit how i saw her better. Hope u guys like it. Thank uuu🧡🧡🧡
alright the 'more quests for companions' series is back and this time we're talking about Codsworth.
He's gotten a post sort of like this before here but upon further consideration I think it should be turned into a quest for him.
As he's unromanceable, a Mr. Handy (not the 'cool' robot like a synth), and sort of an automatic companion like Dogmeat (without being as endearing as a dog) Codsworth is often forgotten or overlooked. But Codsworth has a special place in my heart.
This guy waited 210 years for Sole, still cared for Sole when they return, is the only other person so grieve the dead spouse other than Sole, and vows to help them find their missing son.
I think when the Institute quest is finished and either Shaun is dead or synth Shaun has come to a settlement I think that it should trigger the possibility to unlock a quest with Codsworth through raised affinity. It starts with him admiting that after so long of waiting for what he considered to be his family to return, and it either returning as just Sole or without the spouse making his family feel lacking/incomplete.
Then he asks to find another Mr. Handy of some kind to add to their family. Maybe there's an option to choose or a 'whatever one you go for first' where you can either pick up a Mr. Handy or a Ms. Nanny kit and some fuel. Then you need to find a terminal with experimental/unused codes and so you collect a holotape with coding to make this either a child or a life partner. Then you build the robot and add the holotape 'together' with Codsworth.
Either Codsworth chosing the name if it's his child, or getting to chose between set names (think chosing your codename in the railroad) if it's a life partner. And then the both of you boot them up and introduce yourselves.
If they're his child, there could be a series of dialogue from Codsworth mentioning how he taught them something new, or coming across Codsworth showing them how to do something/explaining something to them/answering their questions.
Then if it's a life partner, they would already have the intelligence of a 'grown' robot and therefore you could find them swapping cleaning tips, or gossiping about settlers, or asking how the other is doing if Codsworth has been traveling with you. And Codsworth could tell you funny/sweet stories about things they did together or how he is less lonely with them around.
danse smut. that's it, that's the post. (wrote this after being awake for 36 hours straight with 2 coffees and an energy drink in me. 2/10 don't recommend but would probably do again.)
With Danse’s dedication to his work, the mission of the Brotherhood of Steel, it’s entirely plausible he’s either a complete virgin or inexperienced. It is made clear he doesn’t have the interest or the time to fraternize… until he meets you.
He's slow to get comfortable in the beginning, nervous and needing direction, sometimes outright even orders. He’s worried about doing something wrong, worried about making a fool of himself, or worse hurting you somehow. He would need lots of praise and reassurance to get comfortable enough to get out of his own head about it. The more vocal you are, either with words or sounds of pleasure the more he relaxes and can focus on his newest mission of pleasing you.
‘God that feels so good’
‘Right there, please’
‘How are you so good at this?’
‘So handsome like this’
The first few times he will most likely cum prematurely, leaving a mess in his boxers he later scrubs furiously with red tinged ears. Languid make-out sessions paired with grinding and the sounds he pulls from you are enough to get him there. But he’s a quick learner and discipline is one of his most prominent features.
When you are both ready to move on to actual sex, he will start with more classic and safe positions, like missionary or cowgirl. Positions that he can easily be guided through, watch your face for any discomfort or queues he’s hitting the right spot. One hand on a thigh to hold you steady and stroking you in time with his thrusts.
At first it's always you propositioning. He feels both ashamed at first of how much he desires you, and afraid of coming on too strongly and facing the embarrassment of rejection. Slowly he starts to get more comfortable, more confident with each interaction, until one point you decide to wait him out. You don’t proposition him, let your usual make-out sessions fizzle out instead of going anywhere, pretending to miss his increasingly less subtle hints. All with the hopes of seeing how long he will go before snapping and begging or 'properly' initiating.
When he finally does crack it’s after a long day of traveling. You’ve both finally found a place to rest for the night, eaten a ‘real’ meal cooked over a makeshift fire and then boarded yourselves up in some old store’s backroom. He watches you with heavy eyes, having caught on to what you were doing a couple days back. He was sure he could hold out longer than you, but seeing you bending over to investigate old desk drawers and low shelves has his cock stiffening in his jumpsuit. He comes up behind you then, hands hovering for only a moment before he takes you by the hips and pulls you into him until his cock is nestled against your lower back.
‘Knight…’ he trails off, unsure what else to say. What he wants is evident but the idea of saying it out loud? A flush climbs his neck and blossoms at the collar of his jumpsuit. You take this as your win, as you are just as needy now as he is after this long wait.
At any noise or word of assent, he’s baring the both of you only the minimum needed and as quickly as he can. So eager he can't even take the time to fully remove either of your clothes, just unzips until his cock springs free. Then for the first time ever he’s bending you over the closest surface. The desk is stinging cold metal against your temples, heated with anticipation and desire.
But this position isn’t close enough for him, so before long he’s wrapping an arm around your shoulders and suddenly you’re upright, his chest is pressed to your back. He's sweating, chest heaving, bicep rigidly flexed with the effort to keep the position. With you this close, he can kiss and lick all over your neck and shoulders, his usual attention to not leave marks entirely forgotten as his teeth scrape messily against sensitive skin.
The quick roll of his hips has his arm slipping up from your chest and suddenly he’s holding you up by the crook of his elbow at your throat. Immediately he slows his hips, pulling his arm back to release the hold. He’s stopped by you keeping him in place with one hand on his forearm and the other on his bicep as you grind back into him, encouraging him to continue. He wants to stop, ask if you’re sure. But the trust you’re showing him, the sinful noises you’re making, and the way you clench even hard around him- it’s all too much to resist
So he repositions just slightly, so there is less pressure on your airways and more on your collarbones, but the illusion remains. And then he fucks you harder, faster. His thrusts are so enthusiastic you fall forward, and he follows you down. He’s half propped up on one forearm, but it's doing only enough to keep you from being crushed, as nearly his whole weight rests on top of you.
His grunts, gasps, and stuttered praises, and the harsh slaps of his hips against yours echo in your ears until there's nothing but him and you and the feeling of his cock so deep inside of you it steals your breath.
Danse gets desperate as he gets close, lost in the sensations and chasing his climax. He pushes up to get a better angle, craving the thrusts that had been exchanged for grinding, and sloppily reaches for leverage. But he still wants to touch you and so his hand finds the space between your shoulder blades, thumb and forefinger on either side of your neck. He uses this hold to pull you back into him, lowering his hips just a little to get the angle somehow deeper.
It doesn’t take him long to cum from there, hips stuttering and groaning through clenched teeth. Still breathing hard from the force of it, he drops to his knees behind you and licks into you, despite you being full of him. He’s desperate even now, eager for you to follow him over the edge. In between swipes of his tongue he begs for it, not traditional begging, but the urgings of a senior officer to his subordinate.
‘Come on, Knight'
‘You know you can do it'
‘There you go'
His tone is serious, all while breathless and chin wet with spit and cum, as though he’s guiding you through sniping raiders or hacking a terminal and not curling his fingers into the spot that makes you sing. Eventually he has it down to a science, memorizing every reaction, every sensitivity or trigger to get you to completion quickly... or to keep you on edge until you're begging.
Even in times like this Danse clings to some type of composure when he’s in charge, like he’s still your paladin even in bed. But when you look back at him, tears brimming in your eyes pleading for him to let you orgasm, he is no longer aware of his expression. His lips part on a soft inhale, eyes widening in awe as he gives you exactly what you ask for without ever looking away from your face.
When you finally come down, muscles going lax and the hazy post-orgasm relaxation sets in, he kisses the crown of your head and then lifts you, carrying you to the bed rolls. He strips off the remnants of your clothes and then lays you down. He is glad to have packed a fresh rag to oil his weapon, as he can now use it and some purified water to clean you both instead. After you are both cleaned and stripped of your clothes, he cradles you into his side with your head under his chin. Danse stays like that, content to keep watch as you get your rest.
let's talk about Emogene Cabot. She could be a far more rounded and compelling character, and I would like to talk about why and how I think this could be implimented.
The identity of the cabots is incredibly tied to their youth and longevity. Emogene rebels against this and stops taking the serum... but I think it would be fascintating to her limits pushed outside of this immortal youth. And so a concept came to mind: Ghoul Emogene.
Either, instead of finding her at Brother Thomas' ampitheater you find out she was kicked out for encountering the same drug as John and going ghoul OR you can encounter her later, either out in the environment or at a settlement/Goodneighbor where she is a ghoul now.
She can make a bitter but playful comment like "what dont you recognize me", and it's clear that despite her attempting to release the hold that the vanity that comes with immortal youth has on her, she is struggling to come to terms with her new future. Looking the way a ghoul does, and still facing what is effectively immortality (until ferality of course).
She would have to both come to terms with immortality no longer being something she can opt in and out of and learn to live with the fact that the pre-war ideal of beauty no longer comes with this immortality and in fact her appearance (and her immortality) will now make her an outcast instead of something desireable and enviable.
I think on a smaller/base level just a charisma check convo would be interesting, some inspirational words about loving yourself and finding yourself/learning to live as a ghoul.
But on a deeper level, I think it would have been fascinating for her to be an unlockable companion. (I know I love to make NPCs potential companions but hear me out)
Imagine if she could be unlocked as a companion after the Cabot quests, and then the either timed or random event of finding her as a ghoul either in Goodneighbor, Bunkerhill, or a Random Minutemen Settlement.
Then through her affinity talks you can convince her both to love herself as a ghoul and come to terms with her now near immortality. Either through talking to her through the benefits/advantages of being a ghoul, or reassuring her there will still eventually be an end technically which is kind of morbid but maybe that's something she would take comfort in due to her letting go of immortality by stopping taking the serum.
And through traveling with you she satisfies that adventuring itch that lead to her rebelling against her family, and she learns to be less impulsive and vain?
But if not a companion than, through the aforementioned conversation, you could convince her to join a caravan or become an adventurer to embrace her new life as a ghoul in the wasteland. Then you could later see her in the environment at Goodneighbor or Bunkerhill or at one of your settlments or on the road, etc, and when you initiate conversation she's way less vain or romance oriented, and more level headed and confident in her new identity/has come to terms with the future in front of her.
