Musical Track Stories

Musical Track Stories: It’s a game, it’s a brain exercise, it’s a homage to your favorite albums and artists! I came up with the idea of musical track stories in the summer of '98 on a trip home. Waiting in the United Airlines Terminal of the LAX with my walkman and Tori Amos and Sarah McLachlan cassette tapes, to pass the time I started to create stories with the tracks of each album. The idea has lingered in the back of my head since then and resurfaced in 2010 as a project I did in a creatives group I was part of. Then, I crafted stories of all the artists touring albums I attended that year. Here, I will start with the Best Of Stories I've created since joining an Indie Music Meet Up Group in 2008--both Album and Track Stories and keep jumping back in time from there to my earliest music loving days and then move forward from there. The lofty goal is to craft one of each album I own.
