𝐈𝐓  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒  𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐓𝐎  𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑  𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇  𝐀  𝐍𝐄𝐖  𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐃.  new  bands  meant  new  connections,  networking  and  relationships  formed.  there  hadn't  been  a  single  band  that  sawyer  hadn't  enjoyed  touring  with  and,  when  she  was  told  by  her  management  that  gehenna  was  added  onto  the  bill,  she  hoped  that  streak  would  continue.  with  all  of  the  bands  meeting  up  in  one  spot,  the  buses  parked  in  a  neat  line,  sawyer  stepped  off  once  they  reached  their  first  destination.  it  hadn't  been  that  long  of  a  drive,  but  that  didn't  mean  she  couldn't  feel  herself  craving  some  gas  station  snacks.    ❛    hey  matt!   ❜    her  voice  carried  to  the  other  side  of  the  parking  lot,  seeing  the  only  other  band  member  standing  outside  of  his  own  band's  bus.  it  was  hard  to  miss  him,  his  height  like  a  beacon,    ❛  wanna  grab  some  snacks  with  me?  ❜  a  gesture  with  her  head  was  aimed  towards  the  gas  station  a  hundred  meters  away  or  so.

the start of a tour was always exhilarating. especially when new bands were involved. unlike a majority of the guys in matts band, matt loved talking to new people and getting to know them. especially when they worked in the same line of business. it was nice hearing the different stories as to why they wanted to be in the music industry. he didn't just see it as a connection within the community, but the ability to meet new people and make friends.

a smile appeared on his face when he heard sawyer speak, looking at her and nodding at her question, ' yeah.. that sounds good to me. i love a good gas station snack. ' laughing a little, ' just remind me no matter how good the sushi looks to not get it. '
