New York State of Mind
New experiences and memorable people allow us to stop dreaming and start living.
“Once you make it to your point of making it, you’ll appreciate the struggle.” - Nas
"Advice is like snow - the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks into the mind."
"There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them."
"For those who are lost, there will always be cities that feel like home."
"If a man has not discovered something he will die for, he isn't fit to live." - Martin Luther King Jr. This is one of many quotes that has resonated with me for some time now. While I explore new hobbies, find new avenues of enjoyment, and further myself in the fields I currently reside, this quote stays with me. Sure, there's things I "like" doing, but very few that I'd die for. I'm lucky enough to know those few things already, and this is why I'm not settling until those are the things that I do for a living and those are the things will define my legacy. RIP MLK 🙏🏼
Sunsets through the trees produce crazy silhouettes
It’s amazing how snow can turn any ordinary scene into a magical one…
"I try to avoid looking forward or backward, and try to keep looking upward."
"A snow day literally and figuratively falls from the sky, unbidden, and seems like a thing of wonder." - Susan Orlean

"You may think I’m small, but I have a universe inside my mind." - Yoko Ono
"Enjoyment of the landscape is a thrill." - David Hockney
