The word "kataipan" is written in hiragana, imitating Doraemon's logo, which means "hard bread".
In Japan, very soft breads are the norm, and hard breads like baguettes are not so common. Even if I find a bakery that sells them, they are often sold out. So I am very happy when I can buy hard bread.
I try to avoid animal products as much as possible, so it would be helpful if I could more easily buy bread that is free of eggs and milk. Besides, I love crusty, non-sweet bread. Soft bread is good, too, though.
