Naqshbandi Imam Ahmed Sirhindi (𝕕.1624) condemns the Shirki practices of many women during his time.

He says their Nadhr vows to and sacrificing animals in the name of their Sheikhs and dedicating Sawm to them hoping that they would fulfill their wishes is 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝕊𝑯𝑰𝑹𝑲.

أحمد السرهندي (ت.1624) :

التبرِّي من الكفر شرط الإسلام، والاجتناب عن شائبة الشرك توحيد، والاستمداد من الأصنام والطاغوت في دفع الأمراض والأسقام كما هو شائع فيما بين جهلة أهل الإسلام - عين الشرك والضلالة ....

وأكثر النساء مبتليات بهذا الاستمداد الممنوع عنه بواسطة كمال الجهل فيهن، يطلبن دفع البلية من هذه الأسماء الخالية عن المسميات، ومفتونات بأداء مراسم الشرك وأهل الشرك، خصوصًا وقت عروض مرض الجدري ... ، كما أنّ جهله أهل الإسلام خصوصًا طائفة نسائهم - يؤدون رسوم أهل الكفر ... ،

وكل ذلك شرك وكفر بدين الإسلام، قال الله تعالى: {وَمَا يُؤْمِنُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ بِاللَّهِ إِلَّا وَهُمْ مُشْرِكُونَ}، وما يفعلونه من ذبح الحيوانات عند قبور المشايخ المنذورة لهم جعله الفقهاء أيضًا في الروايات الفقهية داخلًا في الشرك ... ،

ومثل ذلك صيام النساء بنية المشايخ ... ، ويطلبن حوائجهن منهم بواسطة تلك الصيام، ويزعمن قضاء حوائجهن منهم، وهذا الفعل إشراك للغير في عبادة الله تعالى وطلب لقضاء الحوائج من الغير بواسطة العبادة إليه.

قال: "وأما وجود الباري تعالى فكان العرب يعرفونه قبل أن يسلموا أكمل معرفة وإنما يعبدون الأصنام لتقربهم إلى الله تعالى  وقد قال النبي ﷺ لأبي سفيان قبل إسلامه (ألم يأن لك أن تعلم أن لا إله إلا الله) فقال أبو سفيان (لو كان إله غيره لكان قد أغنى شيئا) ثم قال له في الرسالة فقال (إن في قلبي منها شيئا)".

◘ 𝕊ayyid ℚutb (1906-1966) says "𝕀lm al Kalam" is completely divorced from the essence of 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦.

◘ He says he firmly believes that that this Essence cannot be reclaimed except by completely throwing away everything called "𝔽alasah" & "𝕀lm al Kalam".

Imām Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab (rh) said:

"And as for our madhab:

It is the madhab of Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, the Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah,

قال أحمد بن حنبل: 

 بلغني أن أبا خالد وموسى بن منصور وغيرهما يجلسون في ذلك الجانب فيعيبون قولنا، ويدعون إلى هذا القول أن لا يقال: مخلوق ولا غير مخلوق، ويعيبون من يكفر، 

ويقولون: إنا نقول بقول الخوارج، 

 ثم تبسم أبو عبد الله كالمغتاظ ثم قال: هؤلاء قوم سوء.

Praises of Allamah Sulayman bin Sahman for Imam Abu Hanifa. I'm just sharing his praise.

Despite what many of the Salaf said about Imam Abu Hanifa; the Imams of the Dawah still praised him.

The Conclusion?

Apparently the story of Shambhala (supposedly the inspiration for Shangri-La) was used by the Qing dynasty to rally it's supporters during the suppression of Muslims.

In the legend; On judgment day, Shambhala’s gates open, and a vast Buddhist army rides out to slay the Muslims.

The letter (𝟏𝟖𝟖𝟎?) of Allamah Hamad bin Atiq (d.𝟏𝟖𝟖𝟒) to Nawab Siddique Khan (d.𝟏𝟖𝟗𝟎) praising him for his efforts to serve the Sunnah while also offering some criticism.

He asks for dua, books & a reply; saying that he is 70 & might die soon.

The humility of Sheikh Sad bin Hamad bin Atiq (𝕕.1930).

He says the fact that the questioner should ask someone like him is proof of the scarcity of ilm in & the passing of the scholars.

Tajik scholar 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐥 𝐊𝐡𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢 (1880-1960) visited Istanbul in 1905.

At the market he picked up a copy of the Kalami book "al Nasafiyah" & saw that the chapter on Imamah (rulers) was missing!

This made Sh. Khujandi very depressed at Turkey's condition.

𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧?

Sultan 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝 𝐈𝐈's sheikh; 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐮𝐝𝐚 𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐲𝐲𝐚𝐝𝐢  (1849-1909) told him that the section that says:

The Imam of the Muslims should be from Quraysh & not from other than them; This section makes the Arabs inclined to rebel.

Hence this chapter was removed.
