Hello everyone!

Last year I started designing a series of Coat of Arms, themed in the spirit of Pride Month and using different mythological creatures as heraldic animals. I now aim to turn these designs into wearable pins and will be running a Kickstarter in July to fund this endeavor! I have found a very trustworthy local manufacturer, who has already shown the quality of their craftsmanship with the first batch of test pins I received, just look at the detail they were able to produce!

Since I try to support local manufacturers, which produce pins with fair wages and are more ethical than outside of Europe, the pins are more expensive to create than through the usual pipeline via Asia.

I therefore seek to crowdfund the expenses since they would be more than I can afford. BORN TO BE A FASHION STAR

When I read the comments to my post "Give-me-art-ideas-because-I-need-muse-to-come-again", it was really refreshing. And the comment "Raphael on the catwalk" guided all my thought) And the other ideas already were "Hey, it sounds like an articles in the fashion magazine!"😆

So, I designed it as a VOGUE cover just how it might look like in the Nine Hells)

I know there is every damn chance you’re asleep by the time I send in this one (10:00-ish in my time zone, probably 3:00-ish in yours), but I have a few more things to clarify about the Keye/Black Velvet/Culpepper lore.

No. 1: I’ve been scouting through the source blog and discovered that it is MIGHTILY k1nky in more than a few respects.

To avoid obvious uncomfortableness, Culpepper will not be like this, especially not with Keye (who’s basically his child).

Is he still shirtless 99% of the time? Yeah.

Does he think he’s hot? Oh, absolutely!

But it’s not something that ever becomes p•rnograp#ic. Just to clarify.

No. 2: @the-nagakenny-archives doesn’t know I’m doing this.

They have me blocked, they can’t see it.

No. 3: TO THE ACTUALLY FUN STUFF THAT DOESN’T MAKE ME FEEL KINDA GROSS! Keye has a coworker at their pet store (it’s a PetSmart; I just wanted to clarify that). Said coworker is inspired off of a friend I made at camp, who did give me permission to basically use their likeness.

The character who is Keye’s friend is named Cotton. (Sorta like “cottonmouth”, get it?) Cotton is a normal human, but they’re intuitive enough to notice that Keye’s not totally normal…though, it still comes as a shock to them to realize that their friend is both a supernatural creature and a vigilante.

Cotton’s fun, twitchy, weird…cinnamon roll, all around.

They kind of annoy Culpepper by sheer virtue, so I guess we’ll see how that goes! :D

No. 4: Last one, every good adaptation needs a theme song, so here’s ours for this crazy serpentine saga! (Because swaying and moving just works so well for the coils, y’know?)

Yes, I blocked them because they’re a minor. I’m fine with people using my character as inspiration for one they’ve made up, but I don’t see how you think it’s okay to just use him for whatever you want as long I don’t find out. He’s not from an existing IP, he’s an OC I made that’s actually very personal and important to me. All I really ask is for people to respect that.
