#15 The Dead Sea
The Dead Sea, also called the Salt Sea, is a salt lake bordering Israel and Jordan. It is also one of the world's saltiest bodies of water, with 33.7% salinity that makes it impossible for animals to live. The Dead Sea is the only place on the globe where the crust of planet Earth recedes to minus 416 meters below sea level. It is also the only un-drownable lake on earth.
