In your roller au, you mentioned Optimus’ fear of Roller having some of Megatron’s strange behavior. However, I feel like he would inherit a bit of it by trying to get his carrier and sire together so they are a big happy family! Basically little Roller playing matchmaker.
And some of the Decepticons would help because of Roller’s puppy dog eyes.
Roller would definitely try to find ways to get his parents together and Megatron would be his number one supporter. Rumble and Frenzy only really help just so they can see Megatron fail and Optimus beat him up. Soundwave begrudgingly helps cause he has to deal with Megatron's crazy and depressive episodes after a failure. Skywarp and Thundercracker sometimes help just cause they treat it like an in-person soap drama.
Optimus knows his son is trying to get him and Megatron together but he doesn't really have the spark to tell Roller to stop cause he sees Roller and Megatron genuinely bonding over these schemes.
The one time one actually worked was when Starscream finally gave into Rollars begging and tried helping. He just went around Megatron and just skipped to talking to Prime directly about his feelings about Megatron.
Starscream was actually able to have a productive conversation with Optimus and by the end of it, Optimus approached Megatron this time and innated and family outing. But Starscream made sure to make plenty of snide remarks about Megatron's behavior to make sure he acted appropriately in front of Prime. It ended up being a very fun night and Rollar would go to starscream way more often to get him to do it again.
