This is my personal rewrite of Attack on Titan’s final arcs/season, where the war between Paradis and Marley unfolds differently… as Eren is NOT the villain this time. What if he stayed consistent alongside his friends and others are given a better chance to lead to a more satisfying ending.
Note: Certain characters who died in previous seasons are present, but all of that will be explained throughout the story.

Happy JeanMarco Day, everybody! 🐴❤️🌓 for the occasion, I finally drew a scene from one of my favourite JM fanfics - ‘Bodies and Souls Collide’ by Darlingkirstein. Warning! It’s an explicit fic so if you’re not into that stuff, don’t read it.
Those are good rewrite ideas but logically ending toy story with the third movie is the best choice
Yeah, of course I believe the true canon ending is 3. But on the other hand, it’s kinda fun to reimagine the next two movies if they were handled with similar care as the trilogy did.
And like I said yesterday, the whole ‘toys VS iPads’ conflict has potential and can work with the right amount of respect for the topic and characters.

Eren - Sometimes during art class, he ends up drawing the weirdest things: A long-haired titan with his eyes, a young girl of blonde hair and a goofy fish bone. He says they’re from his dreams.
Mikasa - Her parents have such hard jobs that they allowed their daughter to move into the Jaeger’s house. She could go back home to visit when they’re off, but only if Eren wants to go too.
Armin - The reason why he’s addicted to the warmth so much is because of the hidden Colossal dna in him; until he’s fully capable to transform, he won’t need his futon anymore.
Jean - It’s obvious that he was lying about being super popular at his old school, instead he was constantly bullied by both humans and titans (makes his freak out over a titan gf more believable)
Marco - Before becoming student council president, he insisted on joining the Wall Cleanup Club just like Jean but all the slots were full. Instead he signed up for a crochet club.
Connie - Ever since the dreaded day of losing his Mom’s fried chicken, he became determined to open up his own chicken buffet one day; no titans will be allowed of course.
Sasha - Jean may call her ‘potato girl’ but everyone else has come to know her as ‘melon girl’ due to her constantly asking Eren to pay her back for smashing a watermelon… it still hasn’t happened.
Christa? - She remembers having an older sister who tragically died, but it’s been so long so she kinda forgot what she looked like; she never figured out that her ghost visited her.
Ymir - It wasn’t until her last year of grade school when she first met ‘Christa’ and has been head over heels ever since. There’s a feeling deep down that she met her before but doesn’t know why.
Annie - As the Female, she tends to use said form to sprint whenever she’s accidentally late for school or cram school. She also may or may not have accidentally attracted titans with her agility.
Reiner - He didn’t use to be a very buff kid at all, until his armoured instincts started taking over that is. With his new build, he uses going to the gym as an excuse to hide his secret.
Bertholdt - Poor kid has the biggest appetite out of everyone, so much so that he has to pretend to be the principal and take lunches for himself. Nobody notices him anyway so he can get away with it.
I’ve been thinking about scrapping my Toy Story 4 rewrite all together and just do that with the fifth movie instead, for two reasons: TS5 is looking so SO much worse than the fourth and can definitely use a fan’s touch; and yet the whole ‘toys VS ipads’ storyline does have potential if handled correctly - all it needs is for the characters to be treated with respect.
I do have some ideas already but they split into two different alternatives:
1.) A version that pulls off a ‘Cars 3’ and pretends the previous movie never happened (or it was just a nightmare Woody had)
2.) A version where those events did still happen but is working to undo those mistakes (this one is a lot more depressing tho and has Buzz as the main lead)
Since I don’t know if animals can be non-binary, Hange will have to be a female hyena. But fun fact: Female hyenas are strictly strong and leaders of their packs, so this will fit quite nicely with Hange’s bold personality and eventually be chosen as commander.
• Marco always had a feeling that he was gay since his youth, after having a tiny crush on another village boy his age; meeting Jean really pinned it for him.
His little sister Lina isn’t that big of a problem once she found out, as she’s young and often very sweet like him, but his mother was a whole other story. He tried his hardest to stay calm as he told her the truth and yet was nearly on the brink of tears; a pause nearly got him to apologise, then she hugged him gently and told him to not worry.
After things calmed down, his mother asked if he could bring his new boyfriend over to meet sometime. Marco softly says it’s gonna be a while as it’s only a crush for now.
• Jean desperately wanted to believe that he was straighter than straight can be, due to wishing for a wife someday and Mikasa being perfect for it. Not long after getting to know Marco more is when he felt his heart flutter whenever he was around him, making him question his own sanity.
Years later did he finally come to terms with it and felt the need to tell his folks during his next visit. After dinner and catching up did he nervously tell his mom about an old friend of his and that he might’ve had feelings for him, she lightly giggled and held his hands while saying it’s okay because he sounded like a nice boy who clearly made him happy - his dad briefly told him the same thing.
His spirits were raised and so Jean accepted that if he does find a wife or husband, he’ll always remember the boy who helped him find himself.
As much as I prefer WIT for its animation style and sometimes better pacing, I’ll never understand why they decided to cut a big chunk of chapter 51 - the aftermath of season 2’s final battle.
There’s a lot of good character moments in here: Jean being recognised by Eren on how much he’s changed since Trost, Historia breaking down over Ymir leaving, and of course, Eren worrying over Mikasa’s broken ribs (the eremika vibe is strong with this one)
My only theory is that it’s probably due to not being able to cram it all into the last episode without ruining the pacing, but hey, maybe if you didn’t reveal Ymir’s backstory so early, this wouldn’t have been a problem.
