i used to be everything and now i am nothing standing small. i used to be the books i read every single day without ever wanting to let the pages go one after another and i used to be the letters i write to myself in the very early moments of the sun, hoping so big while looking through the same little window which was the only one i was allowed to look through. i used to be the pen and the paper and the poetry i have written with a poorly attempt to make myself feel heard to no one other than my own. i used to be the clouds i gazed upon for hours because i believed that if i was far away it would all just go away, it was easier to hold on to that belief now that i am far away knowing that it was never really true. i used to be the stage and the tempest and fairy and the mother, all of them altogether and i could still carry on. i used to be the warmth of the spring now all that is left is muddy snow pushed aside. i used to be everything and now i am nothing, standing smaller than ever and even than a suspicious lover.
