the fact that in round 1 of zombie stage, all of the members of the audience were creepy men (except for hyuna, but we all know she wasn't there for entertainment) and a lot of the criticism symbolized in the video was on the sexualization of (female) idols for the male gaze or the fetishization of lesbians by men, i wonder how this is going to translate for the ivantill round...

because i don't believe the audience will consist of the same men from mizisua's round, since oftentimes the main consumers of mlm media tend to be women or teenage girls... (aside from other gay men, ofc)

i wonder if this aspect and the fact that mlm media usually gets more attention than wlw media will be involved in round 2 or if that seems to hit too close to home with the actual viewers of the series... (not to shade anybody, but i've seen the view count of round 6 of alnst. and the most replayed clip. y'all are not slick, i fear)

of course, i understand that there are reasons why women may prefer mlm media, especially seen if they are straight women, and i'm not shaming anyone if they consume this media respectfully, but there is definitely a darker side to it (bc there are always the people that are decidedly NOT respectful) and i am curious to see if that will be explored

(especially since vivimeng seem to be going a much more direct, right-in-your-face approach with their idol industry criticisms in zombie stage compared to alien stage)(though i'd also say alnst was also pretty direct but ig some ppl still have trouble seeing it)

anyway, i just had this thought and wanted to share it. i'd love to hear other peoples' opinions on the topic! i do love how vivimeng made round 1, the horrifying portrayals and all, and i am very excited for more :)

I think Tomodachi Life: LTD’s biggest problem is that it seems like Nintendo heavily misunderstood the appeal of these games.

I think they assumed people only liked these games for the “weirdness” which is why every single purchasable item has multiple different cutscenes while children are aged up in a single 2 minute montage and marriage proposals are done while sitting on the floor in the living room.

Lowkey, Pomni is like a badly written Curly from Mouthwashing in both the way the fandom treats her (ignoring how she is an enabler or at the very least a bystander in Jax's abuse) and in the way her actions doesn't match her words (both Curly and Pomni know that the abusers in their story are bad people and in the face of the victims, they appear to be on their side yet coddle the abusers)

I say badly written because at least Curly got punished for his compliance. Pomni's enabling isn't even a plot point.
