“....It’s quiet...Hm.”
As many were raised from birth to become defenders of their country by means of military expertise, it was generally never a good idea to run at a Hotsuin with no warning, or to attempt to surprise them; and when one did so while dressed as suspiciously as Masami was, the danger factor only seemed to increase.
Miyako’s expression shifted from concerned to downright frigid, and she wasted no time in grabbing the unsuspecting girl’s arms when she was within reach, turning her own body inward…and promptly flipping poor Macha Green over her hip, onto the ground, one of the other woman’s arms still firmly in her grasp.
Some might say the young Superintendent had grossly overdone it, but it had been drilled into Miyako’s head from a young age that taking any chances with an unknown enemy was the height of foolishness.
“Identify yourself.”
It wasn’t everyday you offer help to someone dressed as a suspicious cosplayer only to be assaulted. Actually that happened too often...She thought her outfit was friendly looking! But landing with a thud and a “--Ooof!” was surely telling her otherwise, this girl meant business it seemed, perhaps someone of authority?
“Ah- Miss! I’m not here to cause any harm! I’m Macha Green, official Peace-Broker for hire in this City! I just wanted to offer some help!” not making any signs of struggling as to not agitate the other, but also using her free arm to keep a firm grasp on her mask...Having her real identity found out would be..pretty lame.
"How did the Italian Chef die...?"
"He Pasta away."
"...I might not even need to go Macha Green today, it's so relaxed." she's still carrying the paper bag with her alias in though.
"...Ah.......I'm so hungry those doves are starting to look delicious..."

Oh man, what a score! The new customer was an absolute beauty! Jae-ha immediately perked up, and leaned over the counter to smile at her more fondly. Briefly— he took note of her. He was sure that she was a new face (he would never forget a face like that!), and that she looked pretty tired out (he noted the bag, but it was rude to ask just as he met her). "A pleasure to have you then, sweetheart. Do you want something to rejuvenate yourself~♪? Perhaps something sweet?"
"You’re not wrong, though. You got pretty lucky finding the shop empty. I can make you something special since you’re our first customer in a while ♪" Jae-ha had walked around the counter to gesture towards some of the pastries on display. "Feel free to pick two, I’ll only charge for one~."
This guy seemed super friendly! Immediately perking Masami's previously exhausted mood to a more upbeat, re-energised one, her smile only growing at the sight of all the pastries...Which also resulted in her stomach growling. "It's good to be here!-- Something sweet sounds great right about now, I could barely keep my eyes open a few moments before walking in here."
"Woah- Really? That's really nice of you, thanks!" not being one to turn down such a brilliant offer, her eyes were scanning over the drinks menu and the pastries on display, practically sparkling at the beauty known as food. It was making her head hurt just trying to narrow it down to two. "Ah! I don't think I can decide! Would you mind picking for me? I completely trust your judgement...Barista!"

There were many reasons why Jae-ha loved his job. Maybe it was the rush they would have during peek hours, or maybe it was the floods of admiring fans he had that would flock by just to see him. All in all, he honestly did take his job seriously (..well, most of the time) and adored the overall high pace action.
But there were times like these where it seemed like the entire population had gone still— where there had not been a single customer within the span of a few hours. Jae-ha had been fiddling around with a coffee cup, drawing patterns along the sides in utter boredom. He had already restocked the shelves and pastries, replenished the coffee dispensers— everything, to no avail.
The chime of the door had snapped him out of his thoughts, causing the barista to set down the cup abruptly and shot a sweet smile to the newcomer.
"Why hello there! Welcome, welcome! How might I help you today~♪ ♥"
It had been an extremely tiring day for the Masami, only performing small tasks, but when you stacked them all up..It was enough to make your back break. What she needed right now was some much anticipated R&R..That was until her eyes settled upon quite a cute Cafe looking face, following her nose and stomach inside.
Eyes wandering around the place and taking it in, she was glad she spotted it whilst it was empty! This looked like the type of place that was practically swimming in customers 24/7. Taking a seat closest to the barista and setting down her brown paper bag which currently held her alter ego.
"Hi! I'm totally new this place but I'd love to hear what you have! I can never turn down a good pastry and drink."
"Wah...It's humid for this costume today..All in a day's work I suppose!"strolling through the streets of Toshi in search of anyone in need of Macha Green!
Rain came pouring down onto the depths of Toshi City, the drains beginning to fill with raindrops, puddles forming upon the sidewalks. The skies were completely darkened with shades and blends of greys and blacks. One thing was for sure though, Ikki was quite unfortunate and forgot an umbrella. However, he felt that it didn’t falter him in the slightest. A bit of rain wouldn’t hurt anyone!
Ikki walked through the streets of the City, making his way towards his work area to the warm until he heard a noise. He turned to look for the source of the noise but unfortunately had collided with some unfortunate soul.
"Ah, excuse me! Are you alright?"
The rain had caught Masami off guard too, having to quickly change back into her normal clothes after helping an old lady get her cat out of a tree. Being in this weather would make her mask impossible to breathe in! Luckily afterwards, the elderly woman provided her with a umbrella to walk home with. Though when she saw a guy looking like a drowned cat, she had to help him..That would be possible if he didn't just collide with her.
"Woah, woah. Watch where you're going...It's dangerous!" rubbing the back of head with her free hand, luckily she didn't fall from the collision since she had suffered worse in the past. "I just wanted to offer you some refuge under this umbrella!"
"Did I perhaps overestimate my familiarity with this area…?"
This…wasn’t where she wanted to be in the least. Her directions had told her to take Tinamou Drive, but although she was certain she’d followed them to the letter, she’d somehow ended up on…what was it? Cassowary Avenue?
"…"
Well, it couldn’t be helped. She’d simply need to refer to her phone’s GPS—
"—…?"
Ah. Her phone was dead. When had that happened…?
"… How inconvenient."
It hadn't taken her long at all to settle into her new place, and now here she was, roaming the streets in search of people who needed help. Dressed as her alter ego: Macha Green!
The girl infront of her did seem...Just a tad lost. Despite not knowing the area at all, Masami had to help her! Or at least be of some assistance. "Hey! Are you alright there, Miss?" Don't worry, just someone dressed as a knock-off power ranger running towards you.
I’m only 40% sure of what the show is about so far but i agree
