She was convinced now. Donny probably sent this guy over to make sure she wasn’t fucking around. They weren’t even dating. What a douche. “Doesn’t matter who he is,” She murmured, eyeing him suspiciously. “I didn’t do anything. I’m not a troublemaker.”
âť› You know that sounds exactly like something a troublemaker would say, right? âťś
He leans forward slightly, a hint of a smile tugging at his lips on his otherwise serious face.Â
I was created                to strip lungs                of their breath            to destroy pretty little things            and burn them to the ground.                          to bring the world to its knees                          and hear my name spoken                          only in fearful whispers        I was created human,        but I was made        to be a monster.

Over the past half hour or so Shelby had spent her time inside the local library, skimming through books for one that eventually found her interest. She spotted a book in the crime section that was written about the Axe Murder House. Naturally the whole thing was completely tragic. But it was a topic for a fair while now that had her attention drawn to it. As she looked upwards towards the book and took a step closer, she failed to realize she was almost about to bump into a man. “Oh, sorry about that.” She said taking a step back from him.. “Actually, can you reach that book there for me?” She said pointing towards the book in mind.
Out of all of the isles she could have walked down, why did it have to be this one? Jeffrey doesn’t respond to the apology.  He’s already slowly backing away from the shelf, as if he wants to put as much space between himself and the books. When she asks for his help, he’s ready to tell her to go find a stool if she can’t reach. But the title of the book catches his eye ( thankfully it’s not the same one he had almost picked up ) and he changes his mind. Stepping forward, he easily reaches for the book and grabs it for her ( but not after getting a good look at the cover ).

“Ain’t that the truth,” Rosie muttered, taking the glass from him. “So who are you again? Do you know Donny? Did he send you to spy on me?”
Jeffrey smiled as he took a long gulp from his glass. He knew what he was, but who? He wasn’t so sure anymore. Leaning back against the couch, he gives a small shrug in response. He doesn’t know who this Donny guy is, but he’s willing to play along.
❛ Just Jeff. Why would Donny send someone to spy on you? What did you do? ❜
He was quite alike her in that way. Always looking for food. “I don’t even have anything good.” She argued, sitting on the other end of the couch.
When it doesn’t look like the girl is going to freak out ( which she probably should ) or call the police ( which she really should ), Jeffrey pours the girl a drink. It’s her wine, after all.

Hanging out at the public library didn’t seem to be a hot spot for places people wanted to hang out at on a rainy day. That was good news for Jeffrey, who had gotten caught in the sudden storm. It would be easy for him to hide away among the many stacks of books while he dried off. Rounding the next stack, Jeffrey continued to lazily scan the shelves when his eyes found the one section he had wanted to avoid: True Crime. He knew what was there but found himself searching the rows for his name anyway. Without thinking, he reached a hand out to pluck the book from off the shelf when he felt eyes on him. He quickly jerked his hand back and stared at the dark haired girl standing in the isle with him, looking as if he had just gotten caught doing something he shouldn’t be doing. Had she been there the whole time?
❛ Can I help you... ? ❜
She hesitated in the doorway. “I guess. Why did you come here?”
âť› Because you have food. âťś
And because he didn’t think she would be back so soon.

Jeffrey wakes up suddenly and is momentarily disoriented. He doesn’t remember falling asleep and he doesn’t know where he is or how he got there. But then everything falls into place ( a memory slowly forming of him leaving town earlier that day and heading into the woods to take a look around ) and he allows himself to relax against the tree. But now the question is, what woke him in the first place? Just as he’s wondering whether it was from a bad dream or something e l s e, he hears the distinct sound of a branch snapping beneath someone’s ( or something’s ) foot. There is his answer. The boy scrambles to his feet, trying to be as silent as possible in an attempt to pinpoint the direction the sound came from. But it’s nearly impossible when it sounds like it came from e v e r y direction.
❛ Who’s there? ❜
“….Are you drinking my wine? That is expensive!”
âť› ....did you wanna j o i n me? âťś
