Basic etiquette dictated that staring at people over the table for extended periods of time was usually rude. Coincidentally, basic etiquette was one of the things he had forgotten along with nearly 10 years of schooling and the use of napkins. So, he was sitting in the mostly empty dinning area, watching the vibrantly pink person eat.
It wasn’t the fact that they were also pink that made him stare, nor the fact that they were some of the only people in the room, but the contents of her plate. After all, if there was food here he could have, there wasn’t much point in rummaging through the kitchen in search of it.
"Are you going to have that?"
Great, here she was hoping to eat a nice light chicken salad in peace, but now some weird albino boy was watching her. Such a thing always made her uncomfortable, and all the times Aigis did it out of curiosity didn't really make her any more used to it.
"Don't you have something better to do?" Yukari snapped with irritation. When he didn't answer, she gave up with a frustrated huff and continued to spear lettuce with her fork. It was the young man watching her who broke the silence. What? Couldn't he see that she was still eating this?
"There's other things to eat that aren't mine, you know!" She exclaimed defensively. This guy was weird, but at least he didn't seem threatening. A small comfort.
