Hiatus announcement
So, Katey is having some severe anxiety and depression issues right now, she’s going to be going on an indefinite hiatus. 19. Asleep
Aleksis had stepped out for a moment to let the dogs run around or a bit. They’d been cooped up in the apartment all day, they needed to let their energy out. When he came back inside he found Sasha passed out at her desk again, like she often did these days. With a slight smile he walked over and kissed her head, leaning down to pick her up and carry her into the bedroom. He laid her I the bed and settled down next to her, wrapping her up in his warmth gently.
Sasha stares at him with a face of scorn and pain. This was all his fault. This was all his idea.
But then again, that was the hormones talking.

"You know.. Was once stabbed in liver over you…" Aleksis grinned blearily as he laid in the hospital bed. They had him all drugged up after a surgery to remove a metal shard from his knee. It had been quite painful before its removal. "Was back in prison… He shank me because he think you too beautiful for me.. He was mistaken."

Oh how the words rang and warmed her cheeks. His hands cup her cheeks ever so gently, to which she leans into them. They were like this usually because of their drift; tactile and touchy to the point of pain from separation, but when he was high as a kite his baby-like attitude towards it showed through immediately.
"Thank you…" She smiles, brushing away fringe from her hair that had fell. “I am lucky this little trainee annoyed his teacher too much.”
He giggled at the comment about him during the trainee years, still touching her face and neck gingerly. She was like a porcelain doll beneath his big hands.

And for once she felt perfectly fine being a little doll to him. Usually she hated comments directed like that; only with him did she feel rather comfortable as a tiny little thing, even for her above average height. She keeps his hands pressed to her cheeks, yet settles in the chair next to his bed. If she could help it, she wasn’t going to move until she was sure he was asleep, even if someone began protesting.
