This can cause me a lot of pain because most people do not offer the softness I need, because they don't comprehend such a degree of softness as a need, because the conceiving of it can only be formulated from being this vulnerable themselves. Today I went to the beach to feel my feelings of total devastation. As soon as I sat down, a sun shower poured down. I love sun showers... They are the strangest and most beautiful of weather. Moments later, a bright red ball with no owner washed in from the tide. I pulled it to the sand with me and played. I set the ball down for a minute. Then, as I wasn't looking, the wind returned the ball to the sea. I wanted the tide to return it to me but to no avail. The ball was gently carried over each wave, deeper into the vast blue. It was a very curious experience. I realised I had been trying to control my experiences lately and making their surprising outcome wrong. I had closed myself to the notion that perhaps my soul chose to ride those waves that were seemingly opposite to the direction that I wanted to go because it was in fact the right direction. Waves do not mean something has gone wrong. Waves in life are often the shortcut to the unfoldment of a life that is made from the strongest foundation of true, real, trust in the universe. We go through the waves and yet still find that we, in the end, arrive safely to our soul's destination. This trust allows us to experience life harmoniously, in a state of allowing and peace, instead of a state of resistance born from holding a foundation of distrust in our universe. ...I see it now. #peace #ocean #harmony #sea #beach #resistance #trust #universe #consciousness #spirituality #growth #sunshowers #life #lifedirection #soul #allowing #healing
